From Llanbedr, Gwynedd, on the A496 take a right turn (if you have travelled through Barmouth) or a left turn (if you have travelled through Harlech) by the Victoria Hotel and follow the Nantcol Waterfalls signs. Cefn Uchaf is approx. 2 miles from the village.

At Dyffryn Ardudwy, near the Ael y Bryn Hotel turn right if approaching from the Barmouth direction or left if approaching from the Harlech direction, following the Cwm Nantcol sign. Proceed for approx. 1 mile Caerffynnon is on your right.
