Some great new restaurants have opened this year and incase you didn’t get to know about them yet, here are 5 new restaurants in North Wales we think are worth visiting:

PALE HALL | BALA

The newly refurbished hotel and restaurant offers fine dining under head chef, Gareth Stevenson. There are 3 dining rooms; The Library, The Venice Room and the Henry Robertson Dining Room. There is a curfew on children in the dining room from 8.30pm. The experience is described as: “Exquisite food, finest fresh local seasonal produce. An exceptional culinary experience’.

DYLANS | LLANDUDNO

Following the undisputed success of its restaurants in Menai Bridge and Criccieth, Dylans have opened in the Washington building, Llandudno. Great food, great atmosphere and beautiful buildings are their trade marks and they are all here. They specialise in seafood, but also offer pizza’s and burgers etc.

NORBAR | BARMOUTH

Norbar, just outside Barmouth is a 3 in 1 restaurant. The Hatch offers breakfast rolls and coffee which you can eat on the premises (outside) or take away. The Catch offers fish and chips, which again you can eat in or take out and finally the main restaurant that offers a mix of good food; seafood, pizza, gourmet burgers, salads and more. There are plenty of tables inside and out and the outside covered area is perfect for those rainy days. There is a full bar area and a pool room.

AQUA BEACH BAR

With a stunning location, the Aqua Beach Bar is located on Llanbedrog beach. Open all day for light lunches etc, it is now also open in the evenings for both food and drinks. The menu offers steaks, rack of lamb or ribs, curry, seafood, paella, gourmet burgers amongst the mains, along with a great selection of starters and desserts. It’s the best place to be on a sunny eve.
