Beudy-Llangwnadl is a three bedroom self catering cottage near Aberdaron. Lots of space and large communal rooms make this a really lovely place to stay.

Coming into the large kitchen space is very inviting. The dining room table is perfect for everyone in the group to come together for breakfast and evening meals and everything you need to cater for your group is here. Underfloor heated slate tiles add a lovely warmth to the room while the windows and glass door bring in the light.

The sitting room is off from the kitchen. A fab room with high vaulted ceilings. Plenty of seating, a wood burner, TV and lots of lovely lighting make this a great room to spend the evenings in.

The under floor heated slate tiles continues through the hallway to two double bedrooms and the family bathroom downstairs. The exposed stonework and natural colour scheme give the bedrooms a really lovely and calming feel. The bathroom has a shower, bath, WC and washbasin.

Upstairs is a twin room along with a kids playroom / sitting room. A TV, beanbag and child's desk / table is here.

Location

The house is located just outside Tudweiliog near Nefyn. 15 mins drive from Abersoch and 10 mins from Aberdaron. On this side of the peninsula you are close to Porth Or (aka Whistling sands beach) and the famous Ty Coch Inn which has made it to one of the top 10 beach bars in the world!

Abersoch, 15 mins away has a good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops along with lots of watersports and of course Hell’s Mouth which is the surfing spot of the area. Aberdaron, 10 mins in the other direction is a lovely coastal village and where you can get a boat over to the famous Bardsey Island. Again a couple of nice pubs and bakeries make this a lovely place to visit.

The Pen Llyn (Llyn Peninsula) has a lot on offer with Glaslyn Parc where you can go wakeboarding, karting and bowling along with lots of other family activities. The Marina in Pwllheli is a great place for sailing.

Eryri (Snowdonia) has so much to offer; you can whitewater raft in Bala, see Portmeirion the beautiful Italian Village based on the coast, climb Wyddfa (Snowdon) and visit one of many Castles which are classed as world heritage sites…. and this is the tip of the iceberg as to what is on offer.

Had a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage. We had a perfect stay with the family in your beautiful cottage , Finished to a high standard, very clean and the view of the sunset was amazing. All equipped with everything you need! Dog friendly too. What a lovely area to explore, walking, cycling, beaches . Would recommend guests take essential food items as supermarkets are limited . We will definitely book again thank you the Wilson family

We had a fabulous week at the cottage, I really couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The owners are really helpful, the interior is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It’s also toasty warm, perfect when getting back after a long walk on one of the amazing nearby beaches. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Fantastic accommodation. It was spotlessly clean and couldn’t fault it. So much so we are going to book again for next year. All facilities first class
Welcome pack of goodies was really appreciated.
Just one point our teenage grandson commented on was that if there was a McDonalds closer then we could buy the cottage and live there.
Our bed was so comfy, better than home!!

Good value for money and lots of downstairs space both inside and out
Easy access to get to beaches and coves and lots of parking outside the cottage
Well kitted out with crockery and supplemented with a dishwasher and laundry area was very useful
Nice to receive a welcome to Wales goody box and the lemon curd and fruit cake delicious

Even better if’s
1. A few basics in the fridge e.g. milk, orange juice, bread, butter etc
2. Offer of a Tesco / Morrisons delivery service before you get there as its quite remote
3. The quality of the mattresses for the double beds . Both couples remarked that we found them uncomfortable and if you lay at the edge of the mattress you feel as if you are falling out of bed
4. Bathrooms – (down stairs ) – hook for towel near the shower / (upstairs) a shelf for toiletries
5. Check out time in the book was 9.30am and not the usual and expected 10am. We appreciate that there is a quick turn around but as an army of people were stood outside waiting to clean made us feel pressured to move out quickly.
6. A few board games e.g. monopoly, pictionary etc
