Beudy-Soch, 5 Star Self Catering in Abersoch, is a single story barn conversion on a farm just on the outskirts of the ever-popular seaside village of Abersoch. Graded at the highest 5* rating by the welsh tourist board you can be confident that all the facilities you might need are included. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. But more importantly it’s a lovely cottage in a fantastic location.

The big kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen and overlooks fields of sheep including spring lambs when we visited in the spring. The sumptuous lounge next door is also spacious and has been furnished to a high standard with leather sofas and wood flooring. But best of all are the patio doors leading out onto the private patio area outside where you will find the bar-b-que and own private hot tub. The perfect location to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy sea views either in or out of the hot tub!

The bathroom has a powerful shower set over the bath. Two bedrooms. One family room with a double plus a single bed and one twin room. Like the rest of the cottage, the linen is spotlessly clean and crisp. Farm owners Helen and Wyn have obviously put a lot of thought into the conversion and take great care to ensure their guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Location

The sheltered sandy beaches of Abersoch have long been a favourite of many visitors to North Wales. They offer the perfect location for that traditional family seaside holiday with the added luxury of some exclusive shops and restaurants if you are that way inclined.

All the trendy kids however, go round the peninsula a little to the more exposed beaches of Porth Neigwl and Porth Oer. These are perfect for guests who like surfing and kite surfing. In contrast the calmer seas towards Pwllheli are more suitable for sailing, wakeboarding and water skiing.

You don't have to get wet of course. There are a couple of riding stables nearby and some wonderful picturesque golf courses. Other attractions long associated with North Wales include a scattering of medieval castles and narrow gauge steam railways. But don't forget, you’re in the heart of the countryside at Beudy-Soch so there’s plenty of opportunity to get away from it all as well.

The cottage is in a stunning location with beautiful views all round and a ten minute walk to the beach through The Warren. The accommodation has everything you need as well as well maintained hot tub but be careful of the extremely heavy cover after use.

We loved our time at this cottage. Ideally positioned for the beach which is a short walk away. The cottage is secluded, well appointed and clean. Welsh cakes on arrival were gratefully received. The hot tub was glorious and well maintained with a check on the chemicals every day by the owner. The owners by the way were lovely. This cottage was perfect for us and can’t wait to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beudy-Soch. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Ideally situated for Abersoch and Llanbedrog and for touring the Llyn Peninsula. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely week at Bryn Beudy. The location is very handy to explore the Llyn peninsula, only downside is the location quite close to the busy A499.

The cottage itself has everything you’d expect. Very well catered for and all in good condition and clean. The only criticism we had were the pillows weren’t amazing and the duvets were super heavy (13.5 tog) which on hot summer nights was pretty useless.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location and only five minutes walk to the beach. The cottage was spotless, well designed and decorated, and came with everything we could have needed to make our holiday special. Worth mentioning that the garden is fully enclosed so ideal for young children and dogs. And the patio area was a little sun trap! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely break. The cottage is in a lovely location and is equipped to a high standard. The hot tub was a massive plus. Would love to go back.

We absolutely loved our recent stay in Beudy-Soch, the house is very clean and well equipped for a young family. We especially loved the hot tub and the safe garden for our toddler. The location is great; walking distance to a lovely beach and a short drive to a lot of other beautiful beaches and places. Thank you for a great holiday.

We spent a wonderful few days at Beudy Soch before Easter. The house was spotless and was perfect for a family of 4 with everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the location just over the road from a gorgeous beach. It’s also a lovely walk along the beach into Abersoch when the tide is out. We had a fab time and hope to visit again
