It was an absolute privilege to stay at Bronafon. A beautiful property with stunning views and bags of charm. We stayed for three nights with our two small children who loved exploring the garden and surrounding area, including the coastal paths and nearby beach. Both bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and plenty of storage space. The kitchen was well equipped and included a large dining table for us all to enjoy meals together. The property is located within walking distance to Porthmadog and a short drive from some lovely tourist attractions, including Portmeirion.
We had such a wonderful time, Lloyd and Carmai very kindly allowed us to extend our stay by a further night.
We are very much looking forward to staying at Bronafon in the future and can’t wait to take our extended family to share this magnificent holiday home with them, too.

Bronafon House is ideally situated overlooking the estuary. It is extremely well equipped and finished to a very high standard, having recently been renovated. It is spacious and more than enough room for a large family or extended family. We stayed with our two young children. They loved wandering down the coastal path and down the steps to play on the beach. There is a fantastic freestanding bath in the main bathroom for washing off the sand after a day playing on the beach. The garden is excellent for sitting outside and having a drink by the fire pit whilst the children play in the garden. It is a short walk into Borth-y-Gest where there is an excellent restaurant and brunch spot (we visited twice!). It is also in walking distance of Portmadog which offers traditional seaside shops, as well as lots of other dining options. Black Rock Sands beach is also within walking distance (or a short drive) which is an amazing stretch of sandy beach. We would absolutely stay again at this gem of a holiday home and hopefully will be back!

We had a lovely time at Bronafon-Fawr. The property has been furnished to an excellent standard and is welcoming and comfortable. The views from the property are spectacular. Carmai and Lloyd both have connections to the area and gave us some great recommendations for food and activities. We’d love to come back!
