Two Bedroom Family Holiday Cottage Near Conwy | Cae-Isaf

Near PubReal FireFarm Stay

This two bedroom family holiday cottage near Conwy provides the perfect base for guests wanting to explore this beautiful part of north Wales. This old barn on what is still a working farm has been beautifully renovated to provide a real home from home.

We step from the off road parking area through an iron gate into a lovely little walled garden. The front door opens onto a small entrance hall before stepping through into the lounge. This is a large generous space with two deep set comfortable sofas facing onto a welcoming log fire. Traditional ledge and brace doors compliment the solid oak floor boards whilst a wall mounted flat screen smart TV provides a nice touch of modern luxury.

A large set of French doors opens out onto the private garden but we’ll turn the other way into the kitchen diner. Here, a lovely country cottage dining table and chairs sits on a porcelain-tiled floor. Solid oak fitted units house modern domestic appliances including a dishwasher and electric oven and hob and a integrated washing machine

From here, an open stairway leads up to the two bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom houses a double bed and has the added luxury of a large walk in wardrobe. A lovely plush carpet and warm solid wood furniture creates a real homely feel up here. The twin room is slightly smaller but includes two full sized single beds and a large wardrobe. This room also has a lovely view of the surrounding farmland.

A large family bathroom sits between the two bedrooms. This includes a plain white bathroom suite of WC, washbasin and bath with shower over. Again, everything is beautifully and elegantly furnished in here.

An ideal self-catering cottage. This newly converted farm building is comfortably and smartly furnished, very clean and very warm. It is situated on the edge of an attractive and friendly village, in a quiet location on a farm.

Lovely warm cottage, perfect for a winter break. Great pub in village, just a short walk away. A great base for exploring the Conwy Valley.

Lovely cottage. I think the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. The weather was gorgeous and it’s very easy to get to all around Snowdonia and even to Anglesey from here. Although advertised as having a BBQ we couldn’t see one – although this wasn’t a problem as we ate at the lovely local pub (two minutes walk!) each night and if we had asked the owners I bet one would have been sourced. I would certainly return if staying again in the area.

Loved our stay in the cottage – very homely, lovely decoration and beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Great location and local pub very welcoming. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back for a stay soon.

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage. The log fire was great and it was very comfortable. The location and surrounds are stunning. We thought of a few items which could be added in the future such as; A radio and a DVD player..and perhaps a standing lamp in addition to the small lamp in the add that extra cosy feel.

Beautiful tasteful cottage, really great to find tea coffee and other useful things provided -dishwasher tablets, washing powder, scourer and kitchen roll! Handy to have shop next door in camping toilet block useful when you run out of milk at 6.30 am! A couple of suggestions – please put on the booking form dogs not allowed upstairs (my neurotic dog got me up daily at 6 then wouldn’t let me go back up to bed as she was whining so much at being left downstairs) Also although there is an outdoor clothes line, now we are in autumn an indoor clothes airer would be fantastic! And maybe a fold up suitcase stand as it would stop people putting their case on the bed to unpack it! These minor things aside the holiday was fantastic would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks

An excellent cottage in a great location. Would recommend to anyone.
Lots to do in the area – we did bounce below(great fun), walked up Snowdon, rib ride at Anglesey (5 star) and even went on the beach (west shore Llandudno which was less busy).
The cottage is superb. The washing machine was a huge bonus with two kids however a clothes airer would have helped. Also there was no Bbq as advertised. But these are two minor points and don’t let it put you off.
