Welcome to Cwtch Log Cabin, where comfort meets countryside charm. Nestled in a serene corner of North Wales, this dog-friendly haven offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway—hot tub, real fire, and even an EV charger for eco-conscious travellers situated in the car park.

From the moment you arrive, Cwtch Log Cabin envelops you in warmth and character. The wooden deck sets the stage for lazy mornings and starry evenings, whether you're sipping coffee as the sun rises over the hills or soaking in the private hot tub after a day of exploring Eryri (Snowdonia). The enclosed garden means your four-legged companion can roam freely while you take in the uninterrupted views of rolling green fields.

Step inside to find an open-plan living area where rustic charm and modern luxury blend seamlessly. The real fire sits proudly in the centre of the lounge, its crackling flames perfect for chilly evenings. Plush leather seating, accessorised with faux-fur throws, invites you to relax and unwind, while the large windows flood the space with light and make the most of those countryside vistas.

The kitchen is a cook’s delight, with eye-catching Moroccan-style tiles, sleek countertops, and a range cooker. Whether you’re preparing a romantic dinner for two or simply pouring a glass of wine to enjoy on the deck, you’ll find everything you need here—including an island breakfast bar for casual dining.

When it's time to unwind, the King-Size bed promises a restful night's sleep. The area blends seamlessly with the open-plan design, offering a cosy, tranquil retreat. Warm wooden tones and boho-inspired decor enhance the romantic and inviting atmosphere, creating the perfect haven for relaxation. The spa-like bathroom is equally indulgent, featuring a sleek walk-in shower and boutique toiletries for an extra touch of luxury.

For eco-conscious guests, a 7kW EV charger is available at the main car park area, ensuring your electric car is ready for the next day’s adventures.

Cwtch Log Cabin is more than just a holiday home; it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and make memories—whether it’s soaking in the hot tub under a blanket of stars, enjoying a fireside glass of wine, or heading out to explore the breathtaking surroundings.

For walkers, the area is a dream, with trails starting right from your doorstep. Eryri’s iconic peaks and scenic routes are just a short drive away. Fancy a less strenuous outing?

Nearby attractions include the charming village of Betws-y-Coed, known as the gateway to Eryri, with its independent shops, cosy cafes, and riverside walks. History buffs will love exploring Conwy Castle or Caernarfon Castle, both steeped in Welsh heritage and offering breathtaking views. If the seaside calls, the Victorian town of Llandudno and its famous Great Orme are also within easy reach.

What a beautiful place!
We have been fortunate enough to stay at the River catcher twice now and by god it delivers
every single time. You got the most spectacular scenic views of Wales that can be viewed all
around the grounds but we enjoyed it most from the jacuzzi drinking fizz!
The cabin is spacious, clean and beautiful. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Out last trip was amazing, they make feel like your at home. We brought our dog Bella and
they even provided bowls, poo bags and a ball (Which she took home and loves)
May I extend my greatest appreciation for the all work that goes into making guests stay so
enjoyable and memorable.
Thank you Andy and team
See you soon.
