Beautiful One Bedroom Holiday Cottage Near The Beach | Golchdy-Llanfair

Absolutely fabulous cottage !! Spotlessly clean & everything in the cottage is the highest quality. Gary is a fabulous host – couldn’t help us enough. We were lucky to stay there before lockdown & will absolutely return as soon as we can. The most perfect property in a beautiful peaceful location. Thank you so much.

Fabulous cottage, so well laid out, and had everything you would be likely to need in a cottage. Kitchen was very well equipped and the log burner excellent, particularly in a cold, wet January visit. Gary was very helpful and suggested a number of places to visit and to eat. Though January seems to be a virtually ‘everything is closed for the month’ period. However is was great catering in the cottage and there were so many DVDs to watch. Wifi is good but couldn’t get a mobile signal in the cottage.

We had such a lovely stay. Our cottage was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the fireplace especially after a day of hiking. Gary was a great host and brought us some mulled wine and Christmas cake when we arrived. Will definitely be back!

Had a lovely 3 days, cottage was beautiful owners very friendly weather was cold but blue skys it was near enough to snowdon to do a bit of climbing and a lovely walk along harlech beach highly recommend just wat we needed before xmas

Just returned from a very relaxing 4 night stay at this gorgeous property. It was so cosy and comfy and very tastefully done with everything of a very high standard. There was a lovely view over the pretty garden and the fields and hills beyond. We parked the car up when we got there and didn’t use it again until we left which is just what we wanted. We walked every day along some gorgeous country lanes, by the river, along the beaches and to a great pub in the next village Llanbedr. We also went down the slate mine which was 10 minutes walk away. The weather wasn’t brilliant for the first couple of days (luckily we were well prepared) but it definitely helped coming back to such a lovely cottage, lighting the fire and chilling out. Gary was really helpful and provided us with extra logs when needed. We’d love to stay there again and can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at this beautiful cottage. Being early October, we appreciated the woodburner and the cosy furnishings, but even without these we wouldn’t have felt cold because the heating system is really efficient and easy to use (and the walls are so thick!)
Everything in the cottage is stylish and top quality. The garden is beautiful and well looked-after, and even in the autumn is full of colour.
The location is great too! There is a wide expanse of sandy beach just a short walk away. We would have liked to have had some local interest leaflets to read through at the cottage, but there is an info pack that can be downloaded beforehand.
Gary is really friendly and helpful,the village is quiet and peaceful…all in all,this is a fantastic base for a holiday in north Wales and we really enjoyed our stay at Ty Golchdy (even if we don’t know how to pronounce it)

I’m sorry to hear that the WiFi wasn’t working during your stay as the WiFi connection at Ty Golchi is good. We have looked into this problem and found that the modem needed rebooting. If we had known of the problem during your stay we would have been able to address it.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Ty Golchi. The cottage was exactly as we had hoped if not better. It was a good location for walking and also a lovely cottage to spend time in.

Only problem we had was the WiFi wasn’t working – not really a problem as we liked not having it for a few days but it did say there was WiFi available.

We had a wonderful holiday at Ty Golchy. We fell in love with the cottage as soon as we stepped through the door and felt instantly “at home”. It is in a perfect location to explore Snowdonia and is within walking distance of the beach. We were disappointed that is was not possible to try out the woodburner as the weather was too warm! We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden which proved to be the perfect place to relax and enjoy the butterflies. Like the previous guest – it was hard to leave. Thank you Gary! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely stunning property, beautiful location with fantastic views and garden . Gary was an extremely good host, and nothing was too much trouble . Thank you I will definitely return. I really didn’t want to leave .!!!
