Fabulous property, spotless and extremely comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Just spent a week at Hafod Dwyfach. It’s a fabulous place to stay. Really well thought out, well equipped and scrupulously clean. It’s also a great base to explore the Llyn Peninsula, Anglesey and Snowdonia. Highly recommended!

2nd visit to this fantastic property and enjoyed it even more. The setting is beautiful and the colours of spring were amazing, also loved watching the sheep and their lambs + on occasion cows and their calves in the adjacent field.
The property is immaculate and well equipped which made it an easy property for my disabled sister to get around.
We enjoyed every minute and have to say a very big thank you to the owners.

This barn conversion has the “wow factor”. It’s beautifully comfortable (good beds) and clean and has views over the fields to Snowdonia. Hubby and I went with two friends and we had a lovely week here. Went to the Lyn peninsula and drove as far as Abersoch, which looked lovely but we couldn’t park! Being a weekend it was rather busy even in May! Went to see the ospreys nesting at Tremadog. Good pub here for lunch – the Golden Fleece. Caernarfon castle is a short drive away (half an hour approx) but our favourite castle was Harlech – compact and interesting. Good cafe opposite the floating bridge too. Wonderful countryside, very pretty in May. And of course Snowdonia is fabulous, even though we didn’t go up it. We would love to return here – lots to see.

Just returned from our second visit to Hafod-Llecheiddior and again we were impressed with the barn conversion which is exceptionally well planned in a outstanding location. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. We have had a wonderful holiday. Plan to book again. Thank you Eleri and Nigel, we feel well rested after our stay.

What a delightful property!
We were so impressed by how sensitively the conversion had been completed, and enjoyed perusing the ‘journey’ via the photo album at the house.
Eleri, prior to arrival provided very comprehensive information which was most useful; additionally on arrival we were greeted with a wonderful welcome package full of numerous goodies. Very thoughtful- thank you.
Our two chows loved basking in the garden, and the newborn lambs and sheep provided much interest and entertainment for us all.
Hafod- Llecheiddior is situated in a lovely locale with beautiful pastoral views.

We loved staying at Hafod-Llecheiddior! It was the perfect base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia, and even a bit of Anglesey. And on the day or two when the October gales and rains stopped us venturing forth, it was a lovely, clean, bright space for doing the jigsaw, reading and reaching for the odd glass of wine. Thank you!

We all had a lovely time in this peaceful and beautiful location. The cottage was great – well equipped and spotlessly clean. The welcome hamper was very welcome. Despite the weather we were in the sea most days and enjoyed exploring this fantastic area.

Loved our stay and would definitely recommend and return, Cricceth is stunning and everyone very friendly. The only criticism I can think of is that we didn’t have enough towels for four nights.

Fantastic property which was spotlessly clean on arrival and a comfortable & well equipped place to stay on the Llyn Peninsula. There is plenty of space in the lovely open plan living area and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and both the double and twin have gorgeous bathrooms en suite. The location is great as it’s not far from many of the beaches and towns on the Llyn. We ate at The Goat and had a very nice meal. There are plenty of supermarkets and smaller stores to pick up any essentials. Very lovely stay in a gorgeous property which we would highly recommend.

A wonderful property, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Also in a wonderful location for walks or just relaxing and enjoying the view of the fields and mountains. So pleased that we chose to stay here. Would highly recommend it.

We have stayed here a few times now, it’s one of our favourite places to be.
I wouldn’t change anything at all, it is co cosy, the bedrooms and en suites are perfect.
The welcome hamper was very much appreciated.

A wonderful stay…..a beautiful barn conversion, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack.

What a place! To start with you arrive to a warm spotlessly clean big bright converted barn. The gift pack was lovely… milk,bread,cake,fizz and a gift voucher and as it was Halloween during our stay a pumpkin too. Everything was so well thought through,from the equipment in the kitchen to the space you inhabited. Beds so comfortable,linen good quality,towels thick and bright. Then you open the curtains in the morning to that open view of the mountains in the distance and the farm animals 30 ft from your door. It is no lie when I tell you none of us wanted to leave to come home and that has NEVER happened before. Our only gripe would be the bathroom light is to dull to shave (says my partner!) or apply makeup. We loved it and would definitely recommend it 100% to anyone with young children or who has a disabled person in their group as we have.

First impressions of this cottage – WOW. Absolutely beautiful. Everything was good quality and in beautiful surroundings. Everything very very clean. Welcome pack very welcome. Kitchen well equipped and hob worked without any second guessing (spaghetti Bol on first night). Early morning walks for the dog down the tiny country lanes, and the view from sitting outside on the patio furniture just lovely. Only tiny little oversight was nowhere to get towels dry after showering, as no radiators or heated towel rails. So we draped them over the corners of the shower itself. I would return here to this cottage and recommend it to all my friends. In fact friends visited us here and they were blown away too.
Our reason for visiting north Wales was to climb Snowdon, and do the Zip wire and caverns. Zip world not cheap, but so well organised we didn’t begrudge them the money, and Snowdon was beautiful. We did Snowdon Ranger route, and the dog also managed easily.
Our other ‘best day’ was in Anglesey. By accident I found stunning pictures of a lighthouse on google, managed to locate it and off we went. Newborough in Anglesey for the sat nav. Parked in a country park. The beach, the woods, then the walk down to the lighthouses when the tide had gone out was fabulous.
Eating out with the dog wasn’t easy. Thank goodness for the Goat Inn just up the road. It’s wonderful. We booked a table in the bar, had a wonderful meal from an extensive menu, and went back another twice. That says it all.
Criccieth was lovely, both sides of the castle lovely walks. At the Prince of Wales pub I had some of the best chips I’ve ever had, and the meal much better than expected, and the takeaway from Mei’s Infusion Foods was good.
All in all a great week away, weather was superb which always helps enormously of course.

The cottage was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely peaceful location but not far from the major tourist attractions in the area. Perfect for a family holiday.

The barn is beautifully converted and has wonderful views. It is very comfortable and well equipped. The owners were extremely helpful and helped us a lot to ensure our youngest daughter, who is in a wheelchair was able to manage.

Lovely spacious and welcoming barn! Very well equipped and clean. Great place to wake up and have breakfast looking onto picturesque views.

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful property, nothing has changed, it is still a perfect place to stay. In fact I could quite happily live there!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Very relaxing and comfortable. Outdoor space for the dog is good except when nearby sheep and cows come for a look. Can cause a little inter species tension.

Stunning cottage with stunning views and a great location for exploring North Wales. I loved having my morning cuppa whilst sat outside watching the sheep and cows, what a lovely start to the day!
Really comfortable beds and fab showers. I have some mobility issues but found the whole cottage very accessible including the garden which was properly enclosed too (no gaps under fences) great for our two dogs and peace of mind for us. Very relaxed stay in a secluded area away from the noise of traffic but not too far away from local amenities. We’ll definitely return!

We have just returned after a four night break from this wonderful holiday cottage – very clean, very comfortable and the decoration is to an extremely high standard. The welcome pack is the best we have ever received.
We all agreed that this cottage is by far the best “Dioni” cottage we have stayed in.
To the property owners – we thank you for sharing your wonderful property; your hospitality was very much appreciated.

Lovely property in a peaceful setting. Convenient too for many local towns/attractions.Thank you!

Immaculate cottage with all we needed for a restful break. Quiet location and at this time of year (January) you need your car to access the nearby pub which is excellent.

Good base for the area as you’ve got the coast and the mountains all within easy reach

One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Perfectly comfortable whatever the weather; great beds; well equipped. Fantastic area

Amazing cottage, have been travelling from South Wales to North Wales for over 20 years for a short break every year with my family and this is far the best. Access is all one level and ideal for my mother in-law who depends on a wheelchair. Fantastic views, well equipped kitchen with welcome pack.
The two en-suite bedrooms are light and airy with double wardrobes and walk in showers which are fantastic.

under floor heating throughout which is superb didn’t feel the November chill at all!!!!

Looking forward to booking for next year.

We’ve just come back from a lovely holiday. Location is beautiful, only 10 mins from Criccieth and near to lots of other great places. There is loads to do in the district and we will certainly be coming back again. Cottage was very nice, high standard throughout and met all our expectations

Amazing!!! LOVE the welcome pack. Immaculate accommodation. We will certainly be recommending to friends and family and we will be revisiting. Highly recommended Dylans restaurant, but make sure you pre-book. Traeth Penllech beach is Amazing, dog friendly and very quiet. Abersoch is lovely, lots of nice shops and places to eat. The views from the cottage are breathtaking and I love that its on its own and so peaceful. Fish and chips on the beach in Abersoch is a must! Beds are lovely and comfy, great night sleep! Wonderful week!! Thank you!!

I have limited mobility so great to have a holiday home with good access that is also of such a high standard and in a fantastic location- the view, the coast, our dog loved black rock sands!, and the amazing Snowdonia National Park. One recommendation we haven’t seen anywhere else: Cariad Gelato in Portmadog- fantastic quality!

We are the first to stay in this beautiful, well equipped cottage in a stunning location. Its been done to a high standard and cannot fault anything. We will most definitely be back, thank you. And thank you for the lovely welcome hamper, one of the best we have had in all the cottages we have stayed in! Most definitely recommend The Boat Inn but advise to book.

We had a very relaxing week in Wales. The cottage was superbly fitted out and the decor was of a high standard.
P.S a very peaceful location but nearby for many activities and shopping.
