Welcome to Llys-Alaw, a stylish Edwardian retreat nestled in the serene countryside of Mid Wales. This luxurious self-catering home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway with friends and family, from the beautiful interiors to the large outdoor entertaining space complete with a hot tub and a private gin bar.

Inside, the blend of classic charm and modern convenience is sure to impress. The open-plan kitchen and dining area features underfloor heating, perfect for those chilly mornings. The kitchen itself is a chef’s dream, equipped with top-of-the-range appliances, a large island, and plenty of prep space. It flows effortlessly into a spacious dining area with bi-fold doors opening onto the patio—just the spot for a long, lazy brunch while soaking in the countryside views.

The lounge is equally inviting, with a log-burning stove at its heart and a generous supply of logs to keep you warm throughout your stay. It’s the perfect place to curl up after a day of exploring or to host a family movie night.

Llys-Alaw sleeps eight across four well-appointed bedrooms, all designed for maximum comfort. Two king-size bedrooms both come with luxurious en-suite bathrooms, one featuring a large walk-in rain shower and the other with a spa Jacuzzi bath for that extra touch of indulgence. A third king-size bedroom shares a spacious family bathroom with a shower and tub, making it perfect for a family or group of friends. The twin bedroom is cosy and bright, also sharing the family bathroom.

But let’s talk about the real star of the show: the outdoor space. Llys-Alaw’s garden is an entertainer’s dream. The hot tub seats up to eight people and is thoughtfully positioned under cover, so you can enjoy a soak no matter the weather. There’s even an outdoor shower for convenience. Fire up the gas barbecue in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, complete with a sink and prep area, while there’s plenty of space to relax around the dining table with seating for eight.

When the sun sets, the garden truly comes to life. Gather around the gas firepit for an evening under the stars, or head to the gin bar, which boasts an undercover seating area—ideal for cosy nights in with your favourite tipple. The large flat lawn is perfect for kids to play or for simply taking in the fresh air of the Welsh countryside. And for those driving an electric vehicle, there’s the added convenience of an EV charger to keep you powered up during your stay.
