We loved our retreat to this beautifully restored Mill. The accommodation is immaculate and has everything you would need. I could dare say you could turn up here with a small bag of clothes, toothbrush and tooth paste, but a few groceries and spend the week needing nothing. Everything is provided here, it really is like being at home which adds to the welcoming charm of the place.
The Old Mill is a fantastic base for a visit to North Wales. Easy access to the A470 from an idealic spot which takes you so many different places. Lovely neighbour (and adorable dog) very friendly and delightfully helpful.
Our days where filled from day to evening with so many adventures due to its great location. If you do get the opportunity to stay here… it is so peaceful and relaxing. We had the most enjoyable holiday and would have stayed longer if it was available.
Would love to return (though noticed it was for sale😢) so unlikely to get the opportunity again. So l am thankful that we experienced this beautiful home and setting. Wishing the owners well and to thank them for sharing their restored mill. It truly is a credit to you.

Just got back from our stay at Melin-Isaf. It was just perfect. Fabulous, high quality conversion. Impeccably clean (which is the most important factor for me), very well equipped. Location is also ideal. Hoping to book for next year.

The Old Mill is a delightful holiday cottage in a very pretty location. The log burner and fairy lights, comfy sofas and throws all go towards making it a very comfortable and social space – we felt at home straight away! The enclosed walled patio garden gave us peace of mind that the dogs were safe to wander outside – it was south facing too so we were able to enjoy afternoon drinks in the sunshine. It provided a perfect base to visit the local Zip World attractions as well as taking stunning walks both from the door and after short drives into Snowdonia to make the most of the incredible mountain scenery. We had a great afternoon on nearby Conwy Morfa beach too followed by a meal at Conwy Marina. The Old Mill has it all and we were very sad to leave.

Returned yesterday from the peacefully secluded Melin Isaf. Such a wonderful home, fully equipped we didn’t need anything else. Clean, comfortable, both modern and traditional inside. Log burner was welcome as the weather wasn’t on our side. Ideal location for walking and bike trails and local attractions. Dog friendly and safe for them too. Neighbour across the road very helpful. Hope to return one day

Fantastic house “converted flour mill” plenty of room as there was 5 of us and great for Nell the dog. The kitchen is well equipped and there is also a utility with a washer and a dryer if needed. There is walks straight out the door and a great view point looking over the Conway valley not to be missed directions in a book in the welcome pack. Llandudno, Conway, Betswy-Coed about 15 minutes in the car, if you have children Zip World is just the other side of Llanwrst on the A470 the kids love the forest coaster but beware to book at least 24hrs in advance online, all in all a fantastic house in a great position to explore North Wales, another great addition to the Dioni cottages.

A beautiful cottage in a very peaceful location, just feet from a local stream which you can hear as you nod off to sleep each night! The courtyard garden is very well equipped and, with a south-facing aspect, gets plenty of sunlight. The cottage has been very tastefully decorated and provides everything you would wish for if you are looking for a home-from-home experience. The location is perfect for walking enthusiasts with so many options just a stone’s throw away. The nearest town, Llanrwst, has a large Co-op and is open long hours so stocking up with provisions is not a problem. We were blessed with the hottest Easter whilst there so enjoyed the BBQ and the garden and, when it cooled down later in the week, were also able to enjoy the cosy woodburner too!
