Mynachdy Sarn is a unique holiday accommodation near Abersoch for up to 24 people and a fabulous self catering for large groups on the Pen Llyn Beautiful interiors, idyllic country setting and fabulous outdoor space make this a truly special place. There are 9 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 sitting rooms and 7 bathrooms in total. Add in the whirl pool spa, steam power jet showers and a football pitch complete with goals, there’s plenty of room for everybody to relax and have a nice time!
The property is made up of two smaller cottages which come together via a connecting door when rented as a whole. The first 4 bedroom holiday cottage has a nice big living area to accommodate large numbers. With a long solid oak dining table sitting on one side of the room and a comfortable seating area opposite, it is furnished with some lovely leather sofas facing onto a real wood fire. The kitchen runs along the other main wall of the room and is very well equipped, including a central island. A smaller adjoining sunroom affords a bit of extra seating away from the general hubbub of the home and provides a great view of the garden outside.
Of the 4 bedrooms, 3 are super king (which can be made into twin beds) and the other, a family bedroom with a super king bed plus bunk beds. All the bedrooms are very spacious and beautifully furnished with their own unique style and décor. The first bedroom benefits from a large en-suite shower room. The next two bedrooms share a central family bathroom with bath as well as a fancy steam shower. The final and largest bedroom has the added luxury of a private conservatory as well as an en-suite shower room. And as if this wasn’t enough this bedroom also has a private spa bath for two. Don’t fight over who gets this bedroom will you!
Moving through the connecting door takes you into a large converted barn. A huge kitchen diner is the natural hub of the home. A long solid wood dining table runs along one side of the room surrounded by traditional country style chairs and next to the french doors that lead out to the rear patio and garden. Everything you need to prepare those large family meals is provided including two separate ovens, a large induction hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
From the kitchen diner we climb upstairs to get to the lounge in this property. Three sumptuous leather sofas all face onto a welcoming log fire. A large flat screen TV sits in the corner and the dormer windows provide a fantastic view over the gardens and the fields beyond.
There are five bedrooms in the cottage all together. Three are on the ground floor and two on this first floor. On the ground floor, the first bedroom includes a super king sized bed which can be made up as a twin if preferred and an en-suite wet-room. The other two bedrooms include a family bedroom with a double bed and an impressive and substantial set of bunk beds. The last bedroom on this floor is also a kingsize. Both these rooms share an adjoining family bathroom which includes a fancy steam shower cubicle.
There are two more bedrooms upstairs. One double room with another en-suite wet-room, and one family room that includes a double bed and two single beds. This family room has the added luxury of a large en-suite bathroom with a fantastic freestanding roll top bath. Both bedrooms have nice big windows that afford fantastic views across the surrounding countryside.
A private sauna is located on the ground floor.
