For a taste of luxury and opulence from the Victorian era, Plas Coedfa is the perfect property. A stunning Victorian manor house in Betws-y-Coed, this historic building sits nestled woodland and sleeps up to twelve across six beautiful bedrooms. With a number of receptions rooms and ample private outdoor space, this property is ideal for larger groups and is only a few minutes from the village centre of Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Eryri (Snowdonia).

From the private driveway, the main entrance to the former Victorian Estate Hall is via a beautiful arched doorway into a spacious porch area, with two doors leading into either a large reception room, or a kitchen and breakfast room. The fabulous kitchen area is perfectly fitting for the property, with a stunning marble "effect' chequerboard floor and traditional style kitchen units finished in bright white with an all granite worktop. An AGA range cooker is located within the chimney breast of the room with a large exposed Slate lintel above Aga (traditional of the area). With an additional built-in eye level double oven, there are ample cooking facilities for all occasions. An antique oval dining table sits centrally in the room, the perfect spot for breakfast while gazing out at the landscaped garden through the French doors.

From the kitchen, a doorway leads into Plas Coedfa's hallway which is wonderfully decorated with a Marble 'effect' chequered floor in kitchen and rendered stone to the walls. With an ornate carved wooden balustrade on the stairs and hanging tapestries, there is also a cloakroom accessed from the this area. Entering the large lounge of this period property, it becomes immediately evident that a careful and considerate renovation has been undertaken to retain the character of the house dating back to 1840. The original pine floor is still present, covered to the centre by a large pattered rug, where three sofas are situated around a solid wood coffee table. The original marble fireplace houses an inviting log burner and a large TV is mounted on the wall above - the only reminder of modern technology within this classically decorated room. With ornate antique furniture, brass fixtures and fittings and classic chandeliers, this room is perfect for cosy evenings in.

Next to the lounge area, a grand and extravagant dining room is the perfect space for entertaining. Original pine flooring and vintage print wallpaper fills the room with richness, along with antique furniture and lamps dotted around. The centrepiece, a twelve seater solid wood dining table along with high backed chairs with a striped print adds to the element of grandeur. Gathering around the table in this impressive space, a glass of wine in hand and dining on a fabulous meal is the perfect extravagance.

From the hallway, a third doorway leads further into the property, passing a handy utility space before leading into a side annex that would have likely been the servant quarters to the mansion house in days gone by. This potentially self-contained space includes a bathroom, kitchen diner and second lounge area on the ground floor. The kitchen is cosy and traditional, with a mix of wood and brick built units with a dark stone top. With a double oven and hob, alongside a sink and fridge, the kitchen is compact but ideal as a secondary breakfast room or somewhere for a quick bite. With a four seater square dining table with three chairs and a wooden bench, the room is finished with a traditional slate floor and one exposed stone wall.

Next to this kitchen, a beautiful bathroom really shows off the opulence of this stunning Victorian manor house in Betws-y-Coed. With walls adorned in rich green wooden panelling and Victorian tiles along with gold wallpaper above, the brass and gold fixtures and fitting are beautiful. A tall freestanding brass bathtub with gold interior sits against the rear wall on stone flooring. Alongside the bathtub, a matching basin sits on a counter constructed of slate and brick. This incredible bathroom is a dream, and spending time having a relaxing soak in here shouldn't be missed. Completing the ground floor layout of Plas Coedfa is the second lounge area. Smaller than the main lounge, the charm and character remain. Exposed ceiling beams and slate flooring run throughout the room and a large stone inglenook fireplace is home to another log burner. With a TV located in the corner of the room, a plush fabric sofa and two armchairs provide the perfect setting to separate off from the main lounge area to snuggle up with a good book, or to catch up on a TV boxset.

The ornate staircase in the central hallway leads to the first floor of the main house, comprising of four bedrooms, two of with are ensuite and one family bathroom. Built into the eaves of the property, exposed wooden ceiling beams add character alongside a number of classic features and extravagant furnishings. Directly across from the stairway, a large double room with ensuite features a plush bright red carpet with a beautiful wooden four poster bed sitting centrally between two bedside tables with ornate lamps. With an antique dresser, along with a sofa and armchair located next to a window, the bedroom is a fabulous size with plenty of natural light. A curtained archway leads through to the ensuite area, separated by a privacy screen. A large corner bathtub with shower over is perfect for a long relaxing soak.

Next to this room, the second double bedroom is spacious and bright with an antique canopy bed, matching chests of drawers and a large dresser opposite. A large pattered rug sits on the original floorboards, with a comfortable two seater sofa and an old chest utilised as a coffee table. A cast iron fireplace, decorative radiator cover and period pieces dotted around the room provide plenty of charm and character. The final double room, directly opposite, is yet another grand and opulent room, finished in shades of gold and red. With a double bed flanked by two bedside cabinets and lamps, a comfortable brown leather sofa, dressing table and wardrobe, this cosy room feels like being whisked back in time.

The final bedroom of the main house is a bright and spacious twin room, with a more muted and contemporary feel. Still retaining the period features, the layout comprises two metal framed single beds separated by a bedside cabinet and lamp, along with a large wooden wardrobe and Victorian fireplace. Set into the corner of the room, a compact ensuite, separated from the room by a curtain, includes a WC, basin and walk in shower cubicle. The final room accessed from this landing is a beautiful family bathroom. With tiled flooring and walls, the bathroom includes Victorian style fittings and a wooden panelled bath which is located to the rear of the room next to the window - the perfect spot to relax and gaze out at the surrounding greenery.

The second stairway to the annex section of Plas Coedfa leads upstairs to a further two bedrooms and a shower room. The largest of the two bedrooms is a quirky shape thanks to a large stone chimney breast running through. Located centrally in the room, a iron 4 poster original is flanked by a circular antique bedside cabinet, facing a large window looking out onto the surrounding landscape. The stained wooden floorboards and window surround, along with the neutral shades of decoration, add a warmth to the space. To the opposite side of the landing, the final bedroom is set up as a children's room with two iron twin single beds set against an exposed stone wall, separated by a quirky bedside cabinet made to look like a stack of books. The final room of Plas Coedfa is a shower room complete with walk in glass shower cubicle with rain forest head, WC and sink. A bright but compact space decorated in white and blue, the deep window surrounds show the exposed stonework of the property.
