A traditional stone barn has been converted into a 4 bedroom holiday cottage on a working farm near Pwllheli in North Wales. There are 5 holiday cottages on the farm altogether. All very professionally run and spotlessly clean. Guests have the added luxury of a small on site spa cabin with hot tub, sauna and treatment room.
A traditional stable door leads us into the kitchen. Solid oak fitted units with a central island house a modern electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. The adjoining dining room with pine table and simple country cottage dining chairs is to the left.
To the right we enter a large lounge area complete with impressive inglenook fireplace with log burner. The original oak beams and antique grandfather clock is complemented by a solid oak floor.
The solid oak floor continues upstairs into the 4 bedrooms. 1 twin room, 1 single room, 1 double room and 1 family room, so sleeps up to 8 adults in total. All the bedrooms, like the rest of the house, are immaculate. Traditional woven wool blankets that adorn the beds combined with the original exposed beams and ledge and brace doors gives the cottage a real country feel. A spacious family bathroom has a shower over bath arrangement.
