Stabal-Llangwnadl is a four bedroom self catering cottage near Aberdaron. One of three holiday cottages on the farm, it is perfect for a family get together. High ceilings and slate floors, make this a beautiful, open and spacious place to holiday.

The entrance brings you into the sitting room which is a large space. It is minimally dressed with a large corner leather sofa, TV and welsh dresser. The under floor heated slate tiles bring warmth to the room along with the wood burner stove.

Up a small flight of steps brings you into a large kitchen space. Again, minimal decor makes it feel clean, airy and there is plenty of space to all gather in here with the large dining room table which takes centre place in the room. The kitchen units are modern and there is everything you will need to cater for your group.

Back through the sitting room takes you to a hallway leading to the master bedroom. Down a small flight of steps and you are greeted by, again a large space with double bed, two arm chairs and floor to ceiling patio doors. The furnishings in here are more elaborate with big thick curtains and an ornate bed; against the heated slate floors again, it works really well.

Along this hallway is a family bathroom with a free standing bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin.

There are two interconnecting twin rooms upstairs with a nautical theme in terms of decor. Down a small flight of stairs brings you to the second double room and a second family bathroom which has a shower, WC and washbasin. It is carpeted throughout upstairs making the rooms feel cosy and warm.

Location

The cottage is one of 3 cottages located just outside Tudweiliog near Nefyn. 15 mins drive from Abersoch and 10 mins from Aberdaron. On this side of the peninsula you are close to Porthor (aka Whistling sands beach) and the famous Ty Coch Inn which has made it to one of the top 10 beach bars in the world!

Abersoch, 15 mins away is the nearest place to get all your local supplies. There is a good selection of cafes, restaurants and shops along with lots of watersports and of course Hell’s Mouth which is the surfing spot of the area. Aberdaron, 10 mins in the other direction is a lovely coastal village and where you can get a boat over to the famous Bardsey Island. Again a couple of nice pubs and bakeries make this a lovely place to visit.

The Pen Llyn (Llyn Peninsula) has a lot on offer with Glaslyn Parc where you can go wakeboarding, karting and bowling along with lots of other family activities. The Marina in Pwllheli is a great place for sailing.
