On the Llyn Peninsula, you’re never far from a spectacular beach, and the seaside towns of Criccieth and Pwllheli are within an easy 15-20 minute drive of the cottage, with Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Porthdinllaen and Morfa Nefyn 20-30 minutes away.
This handsome stone cottage in the peaceful Llyn countryside is perfectly equipped for family holidays. Downstairs, there is a large farmhouse style kitchen diner with tiled floors, a beamed ceiling and a solid fuel Rayburn range. A large dining table seats 10. It is a very sociable space.
The kitchen also comes with a large range cooker, a fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher, and is well equipped with crockery and utensils. There is a separate utility room – or boot room – which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is an adjoining downstairs loo.
The cosy sitting room has a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas and armchairs, and a TV with Freeview and DVD player. It is presented in a traditional country style, which suits the restful and relaxing feel of the whole house.
Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor, where you will find three good-sized bedrooms. There is a large double with en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, and a large ‘bunk’ room which has two sets of bunks and sleeps four. There is also a family bathroom upstairs.
Part of the Glasfryn Estate, the cottage comes with a large enclosed garden and plenty of room to play outside. A small kitchen garden grows an assortment of kitchen herbs and is for the use of the cottage’s guests. The far-reaching mountain and sea views from the garden are magnificent.
