This stunning three bedroom farmhouse with sea views is a property not to be missed, for a fabulous break in North Wales. The three gabled, west facing stone building is the perfect spot to get away from it all, and to explore the beauty of the area. Located between Harlech and Barmouth, there are three bedrooms, sleeping six in total.

A slate path leads to the front door and into the chequered floored hallway, with a kitchen diner to one side and a lounge to the other. The hub of the property, the kitchen diner, is a wonderful room with slate tiles to the floor and exposed timber ceiling beams. A stone fireplace houses a traditional log burner on a stone hearth. To one end, the kitchen units are finished in a neutral coloured farmhouse style. A double oven with electric hob sits alongside a large fridge freezer and built in dishwasher. With ample storage and prep space, it's a fabulous kitchen to prepare hearty meals for the household. A six seater dining table sits next to the fireplace, a cosy spot for an evening meal or sumptuous breakfast before heading out to explore.

Across the hallway, the property's lounge is stylish, tasteful and simply decorated with soft fabric green sofa and two armchairs, positioned around a beautiful Victorian fireplace. A TV is located in the corner of the room, and the window provides views out to sea. Completing the downstairs layout, a useful WC is located to the rear of the property, next to the staircase leading up to the first floor of this stunning three bedroom farmhouse with sea views.

The bedrooms on the first floor comprise of one kingsize and one double, and a room with a set of bunks, all with uninterrupted coastal views. Both doubles are beautifully decorated with clean white walls and painted exposed floorboards. Wooden framed double beds feature soft white bedding with patterned floral cushions to match the curtains. A mix of painted pine furniture and traditional dark wood units complete the layouts of the doubles, with bedside cabinets, dressing tables and chests in both, and space for hanging clothes. The third bedroom with bunks is ideal for kids, with a bookshelf located in the room, alongside a side chair and large chest of drawers finished in a bright turquoise colour. The bathroom completes the first floor layout - modern and stylish featuring a bath with rainforest shower over, alongside a WC and basin with storage under.

Location

Surrounded by green fields of grazing sheep, the idyllic location of Ty-Newydd-Frongaled merges the rural and coastal setting perfectly. The garden space is sprawling and shared with the adjacent holiday cottage, but with separate outdoor seating areas for both. A slate chipping patio area and drive leads to the property, with a picnic table located on a lawn opposite the front door for alfresco dining or having a relaxing drink in the evening. There is a larger lawn further back, which is a secure and great place for the children to play.

At only two miles from the nearest beach and a mile from the nearest pub, there's plenty to do close to home when staying at this stunning three bedroom farmhouse with sea views. Whether it's relaxing in the garden watching one of the stunning North Wales sunsets, or spending a day on the beach, there's no need to travel far to capture the beauty of the area, especially for lovers of the outdoors. The nearest sandy beach, Benar Beach, is stunning. Accessed via a boardwalk that crosses the spectacular sand dunes, there are views across to the Llyn Peninsula from the beach, which is ideal for swimming, water sports and sunbathing on those warmer summer days.

The location between Harlech and Barmouth provides the opportunity to experience a real seaside holiday feel, or capture some of the historical elements of the area. Harlech is home to the stunning 13th century Harlech Castle, sitting on a rocky outcrop overlooking the coast and mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia). It's a wonderful town to explore, with narrow streets, cute cafes and boutique gift shops. Barmouth, further south, has a more traditional seaside resort feel, but with a wide sweeping bay and a mountain backdrop, which is equally impressive.

There are plenty of opportunities for walking nearby, especially suitable for families with smaller children of dogs. The Mawddach Trail runs along an old disused railway line between Barmouth and Dolgellau along the Mawddach Estuary. Further inland, Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park has numerous walking trails that are family and dog friendly. This is also the ideal spot for lovers of cycling, with bike hire available and purpose built mountain biking trails. For more challenging hikes, the Rhinogydd mountains are nearby, where a number of walking routes meander through these hills with something to suit all skill and fitness levels.

A marvellous place for a holiday with all family members. There aren’t that many places that can accommodate us all that we would want to visit – but this had everything from home comforts to sea views and privacy and all done in some style too. The welcome pack was a delightful touch. Thank you.

A lovely house in a stunning location. We stayed here with another family of 5, 10 people altogether. It’s very well located for incredible walks/runs from the door, and close to a beautiful beach. There are plenty of options for day trips also. We couldn’t fault the house itself either. It’s very clean and comfortable, and has good facilities. The teenagers and dogs loved the expansive lawn! Would highly recommend. It’s a great house for a big family gathering.

The very best cottage we have ever stayed at. Absolutely beautiful with stunning sea views and so peaceful. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Oliver our dog enjoyed the garden and watching the cattle through the gate in the next field. We absolutely adored it. Nice touch with Welcome pack and doggy pack too. Just perfect, thank you so much, can’t wait to return.

Amazing cottage! Catered for 14 over 7 nights and had everything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the local pub. Great things to do. Nearly copper mine, zip world, beautiful beaches.
