Absolutely lovely cottage, spottlessly clean, well laid out and equipped with fantastic views. Great central location, check out Fairy Glen which is about a 10 minute walk. Tawny Owls were vocal every evening and garden busy with birdlife.

We had a lovely stay in this amazing house. A fantastic location, with great views and the house is immaculate. Comfy beds, cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen. A lovely place to come back to after a wet walk in Wales!! Only downside is the tricky drive to get out off- hard to see oncoming traffic. Highly recommend a stay here.

A fantastic farm house, set on the outskirts of Betws-Y-Coed, looking down the Lledr Valley, and Gwydir forest. Stunning wooden decked terrace balcony views, the sound of the Conwy river below. The traffic on the A5 is not intrusive, and the morning clouds that roll in across the valey and Gwydir forest is beautiful to watch with a cup of tea, sat on the decked terrace. Betws is a short drive away (don’t walk as the path runs out and the cars go at a lick). Internally the cottage has been renovated to a very high standard indeed. Three large bedrooms (two with very well equipped ensuites), lovely comfy lazy-boy style sofa in the lounge, and a blended approach to the internals that combines old and new sensitively. A clear dragon theme throughout, and a weathervane outside, with large (mainly sloped) gardens – and sheep that regularly graze fields on two sides of the property. A lovely walk down to the Fairy Glen from the farm house – and walks in Gwydir in easy distance by car (and of course Swallow Falls). Access to Zip worlds at Blaneau and Bethesda within 20 mins by car, and acces to the local Zip world forest on the doorstep. Parking in Betws is at a premium so get out early but its a good start point for walks.
Recommendations: some guidance on running a bath for guests. The old boiler can’t handle a full hot water flow demand and so you need to have the hot tap on a half turn at best – it’s worth the wait but it’s a long one!
Well done to the owners for the restoration work. An immaculate setting in and out. Finally the standard of cleanliness was to a very high level.

Really clean and well designed cottage. Well located for activities including Snowdon, zip safari, and surfing at Adventure Parc Snowdonia, and for castles, gardens and NT properties. Betws Y Coed has lots of good restaurants, Olif, the Grill, the Bistro and of course Hangin Pizza.

Can’t recommend the cottage enough. Beautifully equipped with a ‘home from home’ feel. Amazing views from the large terrace and close proximity to lots of things to do. We tended to drive into Betws-y-Coed (1.5m) as unfortunately the pavement runs out past the bus stop (200m) and the A5 is quite busy. There is a footpath behind the cottage but we didn’t want to do this in the dark. Don’t let this put you off though as there was always plenty of parking in town. The cottage had a major refit 3 years ago and is in tip top condition.
