Welcome to Claremont, a masterclass in Victorian grandeur meets maximalist chic. Spanning four impressive floors, this is a sophisticated coastal residence situated directly on the Llanfairfechan promenade. Here, the "sea view" is a permanent fixture of your stay, with the front windows offering a cinematic perspective of the Menai Strait and the distant horizon.

Your guided tour begins on the ground floor. Step through the original Victorian hallway - where striking period tiles set an immediate high-design tone - into the heart of the home. To your right, the open-plan dining and kitchen area is designed for effortless entertaining. The kitchen features deep navy cabinetry, high-spec quartz worktops, and a sleek breakfast bar with velvet stools. The dining area feels like a private members' club, complete with herringbone flooring and an "Art Exhibition" vibe. Uniquely, the first of four luxurious bedrooms is located on this level: a quiet king-size retreat served by a stylish ground-floor shower room.

Ascend the staircase to the first floor, where the layout truly opens up. Here, the formal lounge takes centre stage. Sinking into deep velvet sofas, your eyes will wander from the ornate black fireplace to the large bay window. Those two scalloped teal armchairs are strategically placed - the ultimate spot for a morning coffee while watching the sunset paint the sky over Puffin Island. This level also houses a small, practical utility room and two further bedrooms: a second grand king-size room and a versatile "triple bunk" room (featuring a double bed with a single above), perfect for families.

The journey concludes at the top of a final flight of stairs. Here, tucked away for ultimate privacy, is the fourth king-size bedroom. It sits adjacent to the roomy family bathroom, a sanctuary of relaxation featuring a classic roll-top bath and a separate shower.

Even the "lower" levels offer a surprise; the rear garden is accessed via the basement. From here, you step out into an enclosed, sun-drenched patio and lawn - a secluded spot to relax against the backdrop of the Carneddau mountains.

Location

Claremont occupies a prime position on the Llanfairfechan promenade, where the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) literally meet the sea. Step out of your front gate and you are on a Blue Flag award-winning beach, perfect for breezy walks or a dip if you are feeling brave. Llanfairfechan is a hidden gem, offering a peaceful coastal vibe with retro facilities like a boating lake and bowling green right on the seafront.

For local flavour, the Seagrass Beach Cafe & Bistro is a hidden gem right on the seafront, while the Split Willow restaurant offers highly-regarded dining in a period setting. If you enjoy a walk, the majestic Aber Falls (Rhaeadr Fawr) is only a short drive away. Within 15 minutes, you can explore the medieval streets of Conwy (7 miles), home to its famous castle and the "Smallest House in Great Britain." For thrill-seekers, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is less than 11 miles away, home to the world’s fastest zip line.
