Located in a popular seaside village on Pen Llyn (the Llyn Peninsula), Erwenni is a fabulous cosy cottage with hot tub near the beach and pub in Llanbedrog. With four double bedrooms, sleeping eight, this period dormer bungalow is a fantastic option for a larger family or group of friends looking for a quieter coastal holiday.

The detached double fronted attractive property, located in the centre of the village, features an ample driveway and garage to the side of the building. A step leads up into a glazed porch, leading to the front door of the property. To the right of the hallway, a door leads into a cosy lounge with a large curved bay window. Pale colours on three walls create a bright and airy space, and a striking feature wall is painted a dark blue, with a centrally located log burner. Three comfy leather sofas surround a chunky coffee table, set on a large patterned rug. The fixtures and fittings of the room create a contemporary feel, complementing the period styling of the room with picture rail and herringbone style parquet flooring.

Directly across the hall from the lounge, a large open plan kitchen diner is a fabulous social space to gather for meals. With a modern kitchen well equipped for the wannabee chef of the party, there's a large American style fridge freezer with water dispenser, built in oven with electric hob over and plenty of prep and storage space. A large dining table sits to the front of the room, in the bright bay window, next to a side unit with wall mounted Smart TV. With neutral wall colours and stone effect tiled floor, some coastal artwork on the walls provide a nod to the seaside location. To the rear of the kitchen diner, a door leads to a cloakroom, shower room and to the garden beyond.

The four bedrooms of this cosy cottage near the beach and pub in Llanbedrog are split across both floors - two downstairs and two dormer style rooms on the first floor. The ground floor bedrooms are located to the rear of the property along with a family bathroom. Both bedrooms are spacious doubles with wooden framed beds, thick carpets and solid wood furniture including wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside cabinets. Both decorated in shades of blue, the feature walls are papered with stylish prints. The family bathroom is spacious and simply decorated with a classic roll top bath including a hand held shower, alongside a WC and basin.

Upstairs, Erwenni features two further double bedrooms, one including an en-suite shower room. The master bedroom, finished in a pale plum shade, features a wooden framed bed, along with wooden bedroom furniture painted grey with natural wood detailing. The en-suite is a bright room with white wall tiles and black slate tiles to the floor. A corner shower cubicle is located next to a basin and vanity unit under, along with a WC. The fourth bedroom of the property includes a natural finish wooden framed bed and bedroom furniture.

Situated in a village location, as well as having off road parking, Erwenni has a fabulous and private garden to the rear. Accessed via the kitchen, the large garden features a hot tub and a number of seating areas. Directly to the rear of the property, a large paved patio is home to a rattan dining table and chairs, sitting alongside a quality gas fired barbeque, this space is perfect for summer alfresco dining, and the budding chef of the household can show off their barbeque skills. just beyond the patio is a newly installed hot tub, offering the perfect spot to relax after dinner, and to the opposite side of the garden, across a thick lawn, a further gravelled patio features a separate seating area with a cast iron bistro table and chairs. This little suntrap away from the main patio is a fabulous spot to escape with a good book and a glass of something cold, to relax from a busy day exploring the area.

Location

Pen Llyn is a playground for lovers of the coast, with some fabulous destinations easily accessible from this cosy cottage near the beach and pub in Llanbedrog. A fifteen minute walk of less than a mile, leads to the spectacular sandy Llanbedrog beach. Backed by a row of colourful beach huts, Llanbedrog's sandy beach is great for families thanks to its sheltered location and gently shelving sand, meaning the water remains shallow for a long way out. After a day sunbathing, paddling or paddle boarding at Llanbedrog beach, take a break at the Aqua Beach Bar and Restaurant overlooking the beach. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at this fabulous spot. For panoramic views of Llanbedrog Beach, a woodland trail heads up the cliffside to a viewpoint on the headland alongside an Iron Man sculpture. The views stretch for miles across to the mountains of Eryri in the distance. A detour on the way back down provides the opportunity to call into Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery, a fantastic art gallery in a stunning mansion house, with a great little tea room.

Walkers will love exploring the Pen Llyn, especially along the Wales Coast Path which follows the coastline of Wales in its entirety. With beautiful sheltered coves, clifftops and sea stacks which are home to an abundance of sea bird colonies, there's no better place to take a coastal walk. A five minute drive from Llanbedrog leads to the popular resort of Abersoch, with Pwllheli ten minutes in the other direction. A golden sand beach lined with quaint beach huts, Abersoch is a haven for lovers of water sports, and the town is a thriving hub packed full of cafes, bars and restaurants.

No visit to the Pen Llyn is complete without a trip to the famed Ty Coch Inn, located at Porthdinllaen on the north side of the peninsula. This lovely pub, set right on the beach is a popular summer spot with an outdoor bar and DJ's playing tunes on the beach. Access is via a beach walk from Morfa Nefyn or a cliff top walk across the Morfa Nefyn Golf Course. Be sure not to miss out.

Very comfortable and well maintained house in an excellent location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. The property was spotless with high spec appliances in good working order. Lovely garden and hot tub. Host responded promptly to queries and was very helpful.

We had a wonderful holiday at Erwenni which had everything we needed from a hot tub (spotlessly clean), lovely patio furniture and a log fire when the weather was cold. The rooms and layout were great and everything was comfortable and well presented. Set in the lovely village of Llanbedrog but close enough to beaches and local towns and villages with plenty to do, local pubs and great places to eat. The host was very attentive although we had everything we needed.

Spent a lovely family weekend at Erwenni. The attention to detail was really well thought out. We had a lovely welcome gift, including some treats for the dogs and even a milky bar was left on the high chair for our granddaughter. The hot tub was a big hit with our daughters too.

Fabulous house!! Everything you need for a lovely stay with friends and family.
House was immaculate!! The individual shower gels and soaps were a lovely touch, and the welcome basket was amazing and totally unexpected. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous week stay at Erwenni, the house is very well equipped and spacious for our party of 5 adults with 2 dogs. The hot tub was a nice surprise, having not been a feature when booked, but very appreciated after a walk up the steep steps to Llanbedrog’s look out point. Very much worth the effort to climb the steps from the beach. Would recommend staying at Erwenni and hope to return soon.
