Nice short break in the local North Wales area. The more remote/less people the better for us! Lots more stowage room than we anticipated, and as others have noted, very easy to drive. I suffer from mild claustrophobia and found sleeping in the pop-top more comfortable.

Had a wonderful week in the van exploring Wales in the winter. It’s so lovely to drive and easy to get around, even on the narrow Welsh country lanes.
There is such a sense of freedom when travelling in a campervan.
My one bit of feedback would be either a more in-depth video of how things work in the van or a in person tour. It took me going to an outdoor store to figure out how the gas worked. But otherwise everything was so good and I had the best time.

We have just completed our first ever campervan holiday having rented it from GoMushroom, what a fantastic experience and holiday we had. From booking the campervan to collecting it and returning it could not have been more simple, GoMushroom were fantastic.
The van itself was top of the range and almost brand new, it was perfectly clean inside and out with everything we needed to head of on our tour of the North Wales coast and we weren’t disappointed, we enjoyed some fabulous weather and the best sunset s we have experienced any where in the world.

We hired the campervan to do the recommended coast route which includes the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. We were very happy with the camper, it was in an immaculate condition on collection as new. Excellent Camper despite us never having hired a camper before we absolutely loved our time spent on our 4 day break at a MTB festival.The camper was so simple and easy even for us 🤣 and the beds are comfy and cozy .We will definitely hire again and would highly recommend Go Mushroom

I hired the Go-mushroom camper van for 11 nights to tour the Northern Part of Wales, North England and some of the southernn parts of Scotland. I drove through and camped in the Snowdonia national Park, Lakes District national Park, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The campervan was perfect for the trip. Just the right size to be fully self contained as well as coping with the narrow roads you find in these places. Everything functioned perfectly in the van; heater, cooler , gas cooker. It was very comfortable to sleep in and comfortable to drive. It was clean and provided all the utilities required. I would recommend it to anyone considering some time on the road. Communication with the owners was easy and straight forward and they were able to meet my needs at short notice. Very affordable as well. 5-stars.

What a fantastic experience. The camper van is almost new, was meticulously clean and had all the kit needed to make a stay away in it with the family very special. I hired your campervan for 4 days to celebrate my Birthday and to travel around N.Wales, we were very pleased with the camper and how easy it was to drive and maneuver. We found really comfortable, we both had a very enjoyable time,weather for August was typical but only one bout of heavy rain. The collection and return was painless, we covered 342 miles , would highly recommend , diolch yn fawr “Go Mushroom ” Da iawn .

We absolutely loved the campervan and the freedom it gave us to tour the exceptionally beautiful region. The van itself was clean, comfortable, well maintained and a pleasure to drive; we are already missing it and we only returned it yesterday! This area of Wales is phenomenal and I can’t think of a better way to enjoy the outstanding natural environment.

Booking the GoMushroom campervan online was easy and handled professionally.
Our requested dates were quickly confirmed and everything clearly explained, even a helpful 10 minute YouTube video walkabout covering the campervan features and lots of practical info.
We didn’t travel far during our 4 day campervan hire and used it more like a ‘base camp’ for a daily cycling excursions. The bike rack was mounted quite high so not easy to load/unload the bikes unless you are a tall person but with a handy locking key it’s very secure if you want to leave the bikes on the campervan and go off somewhere.
We really enjoyed meeting and chatting to other campervan people at the places we stayed and cooking pancakes for breakfast on the van was a great way to start the day !

The VW California campervan was a joy to drive and came equipped with everything a small family would need for a few days away in Pembrokeshire. The whole experience was great fun for all the family and I would highly recommend GoMushroom to anyone wanting a more adventurous holiday around Wales, without compromising on comfort or style. Will definitely be planning a second trip again in future!

We loved every minute of our campervan adventure! We took it around the Llyn Peninsula and then down through the Snowdonia National Park and enjoyed the best of the Welsh countryside, coast, food and hospitality (and weather – mostly!). The van was perfect for our weekend! We only travelled to shell island (10 mile round trip in van!), but it was perfect! Just the 2 of us, it was plenty big enough,it was very warm. We didn’t cook in the van but it had everything we would have needed.
Collection and drop off were both easy, we travelled 4 hours in appalling weather! Our earlier pick up was accommodated. My only feedback would be on pick up & drop off times, I don’t think these are very good as a day is lost at both the start and end of a trip.but forums, this trip, louise made it possible for us to collect at 1pm and return at noon. Very helpful for us!
We will definitely look at renting the van again and we are actually looking at the cottages for another trip!!

We had a lovely 4 nights in the van. The weather was mixed, to be mild about it, but we still had a great time.
The heater kept us snug at night. We ate out at times, and also cooked a little (a second saucepan would have helped!) and all went well.
Pick up and drop off were very painless, thank you for everything! 🙂
