A well appointed and attractive holiday let in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed being in Borth y Gest and would recommend this accommodation to groups of up to 4 who are looking for a base for exploring this area of North Wales. The local cafe and bistro/ deli are charming.

Our stay in Borth y Gest was fantastic. The location is truly stunning, with beautiful views and the beach right on the doorstep. The accommodation was finished to a very high standard – stylish, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could need.

There was plenty to do in the surrounding area, from taking the steam train through incredible scenery to enjoying coastal walks and exploring Porthmadog. The beach provided the perfect backdrop for both relaxation and adventure.

Very comfortable, well designed and equipped cottage that works well for two (only thing missing was sieve/colander). The location is perfect with the sea visible from your door, plus lots of tracks down to sandy coves. We and the dog loved it and will be back! Porthmadog is an easy walk away with everything you need. We particularly recommend the Big Rock Bakery, try their Monkey Bread! The local Seaview cafe and the Bae Borth Deli Bar just on the sea front of Bort-Y-Gest are also highly recommended. Top thing to do in the area has to be a trip on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Mountain Railway.

Perfect bijou cottage very close to the amazing beaches of Borth y Gest. All brand new and modern and had everything we needed for two people. Dogs welcome. Not allowed upstairs which may be an issue for some. We had to create a barrier! We would have brought a gate if we had known. Couldn’t work out where the bins were so used No 2s as looked like they were connected. A guide on Welsh recycling may have been useful. Loved our stay I’m sure we will be back x

I recently stayed in this stunning two-bedroom cottage with my family, and it was an absolute dream! Gweithdy Bronafon is simply beautiful. Everything inside feels brand new, from the stylish decor to the top-of-the-line appliances (including a coffee machine). It was incredibly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home.

The location couldn’t be more perfect, with amazing walks right on the doorstep and plenty to do in the charming village nearby. One highlight of our trip was enjoying what we all agreed was the best curry we’ve ever had from the local curry house.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be returning!
