Luxury Holiday Getaway With Hot Tub In Harlech | Hafod-Y-Morfa

A really lovely house; spacious, immaculate and so comfortable. Everything is excellent quality and the location and views were wonderful.

We had a very relaxing week, everyone had plenty of room. We enjoyed the proximity to the gorgeous beach, swimming during the day and then walking up to see the spectacular sunsets in the evening. Being able to warm up in the hot tub afterwards was a real treat.

We have literally just left this stunning cottage after a fantastic weekend and we cannot wait to book again. We have stayed in so many cottages and villas over the years and this has been the best by far, definitely 5 star. It was cleaned to a very high standard, the decor, furniture, appliances and facilities where exceptional, everything you could need for your stay, our grandsons especially liked the snug with PlayStation. The adults loved the hot tub and stunning views of Harlech castle lit up at night. Us men loved the bbq area and even though it’s January weather, as this is fully under cover we made good use of this. The sofa and beds where soooooo comfortable and the fire was beautiful. We had a lovely walk to Harlech beach and took trips to local towns. It was very handy having a premier shop literally at the end of the road and a Tesco and Chinese chippy a short car journey away. Our only recommendation and this is not a moan as it didn’t effect our trip at all was maybe a few extra pillows for the beds. Thank you so much for a fantastic trip.

Fantastic house, everything pristine, modern and spotlessly clean. Perfect for 3 couples as each bedroom had their own bathroom. Excellent gas barbecue which we used on New Years Eve. Jacuzzi the highlight of our stay and even used in the stormy weather! Short walk to a beautiful beach. Overall a perfect stay.

We have just returned from a wonderful week during October half term which we spent at Hafod-y-Morfa. From the moment we arrived our family of six felt relaxed and at home. The house was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Harlech is the perfect location for exploring the area, with trips to Zip World, Portmeirion and the Ffestiniog steam railway all a short drive away; and walks to a fantastic beach or castle right on the doorstep. We found some good restaurants (we definitely recommend the Castle Bistro in Harlech, Dylan’s in Criccieth and Moorings Bistro in Borth-y-Gest) but, as other reviewers have said, it is worth making advance bookings. We had very mixed weather during our stay but we made the most of it and when the rain and wind was too much to go out we just enjoyed staying in the house, watching a film on the large TV in the living room with the fire on and relaxing on the huge squashy sofas. The second lounge with its own large TV and PlayStation console was great for our 14 year old too. The house has three separate bathrooms and the beds are really comfortable. The hot tub was great too, perfect in the evening after a day out and about, with the best view possible of Harlech Castle illuminated on the hillside! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this property and Dioni Holiday Cottages.

Just returned from this stunning property. It’s absolutely beautiful and finished to a very high standard with everything you could want or need. The location is lovely close to the beach and a lovely little town. The views are breathtaking and the people who run the property are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Our second stay at this lovely house, spotlessly clean and so well equipped with lots of room for everyone plus the two beagles. The location is perfect with the beach on the doorstep and the village a short walk away, so lots of long walks were followed by coffee and cake at the Castle Caffi – can’t recommend this property highly enough and we will definitely be back next year.

Spent a lovely relaxing week at Hafod-y-Morfa. The house is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. It felt like home, was immaculately clean and spacious for 6 of us. I’d advise to book any local restaurants beforehand as they do get busy, (The Castle Bistros food is amazing) The beach is a 5 minute walk over the dunes and beautiful. The weather was pretty awful a few of the days but forced us all to chill out in the house watching films , the few days of sunshine we had we got out to Snowden, Abersoch and Beddgelert. Not long back from here and we really were spoilt for amenities. Definitely going back again. Spacious, beautifully turned out with views (especially from the hot tub) that relax you physically and mentally. Nothing wanted for at all. Unfortunately our visit was only a three night one due to there not being any more days available, we were very sorry to leave and if there had been days we could have extended to, we surely would of. The bed was soooooo comfortable, then just walking on to the balcony for that view and the hot tub, what more could you want. The area/scenery was beautiful. I really cannot thank you more for the short stay we had and the way this break made us feel. Thank you, job well done….

What a fab week we had, house spotlessly clean and well equipped, from the kitchen to the large lounge, more than enough room for the 8 of us. The hot tub guys were great, we found the microwave the top oven has a microwave setting, zip world was great for the big kids and the smaller ones, the pubs in the village were a bit disappointing but they didn’t spoil a lovely holiday

Just returned from the most fabulous weeks holiday. At arrival the house was spacious and immaculate. The cleaning and attention to detail was noticeable. Everything was great quality from the TV, garden furniture to oven. The beach was amazing and only a 10 min flat walk. We filled our days with a walk up Snowdon, Harlech castle and Portmeirion. All of which were on the doorstep.

Did not have much success booking restaurants, but the excellent outdoor kitchen made light work of evening meals. Only thing to note there is no microwave and nearby food shops were limited. Our entire stay coincided with the heat wave so the hot tub was not used that much!

I can’t recommend Haford y Morfa highly enough. Such a great place to get equal amounts of the beach in the world! and mountains.

We have has the most fabulous week at Hafod-y-Morfa. The furnishings and quality of accommodation made for a relaxing holiday. The huge lounge was a massive hit when the whole family came together to watch the Euros and play games. The area was so quiet too which really surprised me and the beach is stunning so plenty of beautiful walks. And of course the hot tub was a huge success. Would definitely book again. It was immaculately clean when we arrived too which was reassuring. Many thanks.

We had a very comfortable weeks stay at this well presented, spotless, holiday house. It was a special treat to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary, we had never booked a holiday let with the luxury of a hot tub before and we had really looked forward to it, especially having had to delay it for a year due to the lockdown. Unfortunately the hot tub experience only lasted for the weekend as it broke down and despite numerous attempts by the holiday park staff to fix it it didn’t work again for the rest of our holiday! We had worked hard to fund a special holiday and felt sad that we hadn’t quite experienced the full ‘luxury’ that this beautiful house and location had promised. We would love to return again, it is one of our favourite locations and a super house.

What a beautiful house! Spotlessly clean, everything you could need from the welcome hamper to even the little things like dishwasher tablets were provided. Everything was perfect, the house, the views, the beach, the hot tub we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Contactless check in made the process so much easier, highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hafod-y-Morfa cottage in Harlech – so much so we extended our stay by another night. It was my husbands birthday and they added balloons and birthday banners within the cottage, which was a lovely personal touch, as well as a hamper on arrival! The views were incredible surrounding the cottage and Harlech beach, which is only a short walk away, is stunning – so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and it was extremely easy to check-in. Everyone who dealt with our booking was very professional and responsive. We can’t wait to stay again.

Wow, is the only word to describe this house, all the rooms are well presented & everything of a high standard, great location overlooking the golf course with Harlech Castle as the backdrop & all from the hot tub, can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hafod Y Morfa. The location was perfect, we loved being able to walk to the sandy beach within 5 minutes. The house was gorgeous, loved the swivel chairs! The beds were so comfy and everywhere was so quiet, we all slept very well. My girls loved the huge TVs, the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Everything was sparkly clean, the hot tub was amazing. We would have loved to stay longer and hope we can go back one day! 10/10

A fabulous house, spotlessly clean and very high quality fittings and furnishings. We had amazing weather for a couple of days so made use of the loungers and garden furniture and also opening up the kitchen with the bifold doors. Loads of space for everyone and the enclosed garden was perfect for the two beagles. Using the hot tub under the stars looking up at the castle was the perfect end to busy days on the local beaches!

Wow this place just ticks all the boxes – we were not planning a uk break this year as we planned a holiday of a lifetime in America but this place has been fantastic – it’s so peaceful and well thought out with amazing views and great access to the beach. Our 2 dogs were so easy to look after here too. Will definately be back – perfect – thank you

Absolutely loved Hafod-y-Morfa! The view of the castle from the hot tub balcony was beautiful we were very lucky with the weather only had bad rain the first night. The house was perfect for our family large enough for everyone to do there own thing , go off watch tv in different rooms , cook in the kitchen plenty of cooking utensils and lovely crockery. The house furnishings are very high standard and so well looked after one of the nicest holiday rentals I’ve stayed in. Welcome basket was a lovely treat as had forgotten some coffee and milk . We visited Snowdon, port meiron , Harlech castle ,Porthmadog and Beddgelert only a short drive to each. Would recommend the house to anyone , garden all private and locked gate which was fab with the dog we knew he was safe in the garden . Thank you for a lovely stay 🙂

The house was just wonderful! We were all impressed with the choice of furnishings and also the cleanliness of the whole property. There was plenty of room for the eight of us and I must say that the sofa bed was much comfier than expected!
It is also in a perfect location for numerous walks. Luckily the weather was fine for us to enjoy the hot tub. Would love to return to this house one day. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

An amazing place to spend our family Christmas. Genuinely gutted to leave yesterday. The house had been beautifully dressed for Christmas which really made a difference. Would not hesitate to book again, the communication from the owner has been brilliant too. Thank you!

Beautiful property. Very comfortable and lovely to relax inside when the weather turns cold in front of the great fire. Hot tub was great as well.
Just wished for more subdued lighting in the living room as the only lamp didn’t work even when the bulb was replaced

Fantastic house. Absolutely gorgeous beach less than 10 minutes walk, perfect for families and owners with dogs. The house was spotless, hot tub was large and perfectly positioned to see the castle lit up in the evening. Games room perfect for our teenage children. Local leisure centre (less than 5 minutes walk) has a fantastic climbing wall set up for rainy days.

Hafod-y-Morfa is a spacious newly built house fitted out to a very high standard, presented extremely well and highly recommended. Its location is good for exploring Snowdonia and beyond with a good, if narrow in places, road system, good public transport and several steam railways within easy reach.There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor pursuits.
The countryside is stunning and during our visit the autumn colours were starting to appear, adding to our enjoyment.

This was a great house, a fairly recent new build and finished / furnished to a very high standard. Location is also excellent, being just a short walk from the beach and not much further (albeit up a very steep hill) into old Harlech. Relaxing in the hot tub on an evening looking up at the castle was a real treat!

Wow! What a house! The accommodation was absolutely spotless and really had everything you could possibly want. Beautiful bathrooms and well equipped kitchen, and the hot tub was great after a days walking.
Really well located – just a short stroll to the beach and a great pub within walking distance.

Upon arrival the house was spotless, equipped with every facility required. The covered BBQ area was excellent as was the hot tub. A beautiful, family home. Great location, beach and golf course on doorstep.

This is the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in. Fabulous furnishings, attention to detail and a really high-end finish. We loved the position, so close to the beach and easy to walk into Harlech too. Shop at the end of the road useful for supplies. Taking the train to Porth Maddoc or Barmouth was easy and made for brilliant walking one way along the coastal path. We also hiked Rhinog Fawr and Cadair Idris, both excellent loops with great scenery.

Really highly recommended as a holiday location.
