Llety Cariad is a magnificent luxury holiday cottage with a hot tub and a view, located in the heart of rural Montgomeryshire. Architect designed, it is equipped to the highest possible standards, and comes with far-reaching views of rolling countryside.

A handsome and contemporary rural escape, the accommodation is split over ground and lower ground levels to make the most of its hillside position. It is stunning: bifold doors, which run across the entire frontage of the cottage on both levels, perfectly frame the wonderful views. There is an exceptional level of attention to detail and a luxurious finish throughout. Much of the carpentry in Llety Cariad is bespoke and hand-crafted - such as the dining area, the solid oak double sink unit in the Spa bathroom. On the ground floor level you will find beautifully presented twin and double bedrooms, both of which are ensuite. The double bedroom has patio doors which open out directly onto a sun terrace.

The open plan living space, also on the ground floor, has been cleverly designed to accommodate a smart kitchen, dining area and sitting room with woodburner. This attractive space extends via bifold doors onto a wrap-around balcony, with access to a large sun terrace with a dining table and hot tub. The floor-to-ceiling views are just stunning.

Down to the lower ground level, and you will find what is effectively a whole luxury suite unto itself. There is a stunning king size double bedroom with bifold doors which open out onto a second large sunny terrace. There is a gorgeous separate spa style bathroom with a Chromatherapy shower, body jets and multiple waterflows as well as a fabulous sauna with a Himalayan Salt Wall.

There’s no doubt that this magnificent luxury holiday cottage with a hot tub and a view comes with some serious wow factor. The grounds are enclosed and it sits within almost a 1/4 of an acre. Outside, you will find landscaped gardens, two dining terraces, the aforementioned hot tub and a pizza oven. All perfectly designed to make the most of the blissful setting. Guests can enjoy free range eggs and are welcome to collect eggs each morning from the hen house.

Location

You'll find this magnificent luxury holiday cottage with a hot tub and a view in a beautiful rural setting in the heart of Montgomeryshire.

Close to the Wales / Shropshire border, and surrounded by gentle hills and rolling countryside, there are many wonderful walks to explore straight from the door-step. In the historic market town of Montgomery, just a couple of miles away, you can join the Offa's Dyke path, a 177-mile National Trail which runs along the England Wales border.

With all kinds of flora and fauna on the doorstep, and majestic birds including red kites, owls, and buzzards soaring overhead, the cottage is a great retreat for nature lovers. The rural position of the cottage means that it comes with spectacular night skies, so it's a brilliant place for star-gazing too.

Montgomery is a small Royal Charter Town with a delightful array of artisan independent shops, including a great delicatessen, art gallery and book-shop, as well as a small farmers market on Thursdays and Saturdays. It's a lovely town to walk around, with pretty Georgian Architecture and characterful timber framed buildings. There's also a good network of trails to explore by bike or on foot. Montgomery is just a 1.8 mile walk away over the 'Hill Road'. Montgomery Trails offers many mapped out walks for visitors to enjoy.

A little further afield you'll find a great choice of local destinations in this lovely part of the world. The National Trust property Powis Castle, CADW Montgomery Castle, Gregynog Hall and Gardens, Glansevern Hall and Gardens, The Llanfair Light Railway, Kerry Vale Vineyard, and the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture are all within ten miles of the cottage

There are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy reach of this magnificent luxury holiday cottage with a hot tub and a view, and the local dining scene takes great pride in using the very best of local, fresh produce, including local Wagyu beef, wines from a local vineyard, and delicious Montgomery cheeses. Within the village, guests can collect Organic 'Daisy Bank' milk which is from the dairy just 1/2 mile away and the village church sells a variety of home made produce. It's an idyllic place for a thoroughly relaxing and indulgently luxurious holiday break.

Just back from a week staying at this amazing cottage. The view is absolutely stunning whatever the weather. The cottage is luxury on another level and the attention to detail is amazing. Carol and David provide everything you could ever need and things you didn’t know you needed (popcorn maker). We stayed for my husbands 50th birthday and Carol arranged the balloons, cakes and a private chef to cook for us. It was all perfection and I have no complaints and will 100% return.

The house and surroundings were beautiful. The house is so well appointed and equipped and very well thought through. The views were gorgeous, especially from the hot tub and we were lucky with the weather. The only slight problem we had was the access up the hill which was a bit tricky due to our car tyres slipping, but the owners are planning to tarmac the drive which will make that easier.

Just got back from a fantastic week at Llety Cariad with the family (4 adults + 1 dog) and we all had a fantastic time! The property and location are absolutely stunning. It looks just like the photos but with more rooms not photographed like the utility and downstairs fridge/tea/coffee facilities. The view is probably the showstopper but the master suite downstairs is just stunning. And the upstairs rooms are lovely too. I loved the hot tub of course. All rooms having an en-suite is rare to find and perfect avoid squabbles. The utilities, bedding, towels, robes, slippers, fresh flowers, welcome basket, cake for Mothering Sunday were so luxurious and all added to the overall feeling of relaxation that we all felt. Owners were lovely and quick and helpful responses were received to the very few questions we had. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to come back

Llety-Cariad exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is fabulous, with amazing views, I could spend all day just watching the clouds and gazing at the hills! And it’s perfect for star gazing on a clear night. Our lodge was impeccably designed, and furnished comfortably with great taste. Owners Carol and David have thought of everything, and done everything just right. The huge main bedroom downstairs is impressive as the windows open up onto a terrace with views over the hills and valleys. And being dog-friendly is such an added bonus. Carol and David couldn’t do enough to make us feel relaxed and at home. What a great week, we should have stayed longer!

Our first visit to Llety-Cariad and it has been absolutely amazing! The Property was perfect and one of, if not the best we’ve ever stayed! It provided a great balance of family life (with 3 kids!) and time for the parents when the kids went to bed.

Carol & David are amazing hosts and thought of everything to make us feel welcome and have everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.

We would recommend a walk around the village which is lovely and seeing the chickens, horses and dogs that were on the resort.

For a day out Powys Castle was not too far and a great day out

We are very sad to be leaving, but are already planning our next stay

We have had the most amazing stay at Llety-Cariad. The house is beautiful and waking up to the view of the Welsh landscapes is breathtaking.

We especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and will never forget the delicious pizza we made in the pizza oven. The attention to detail made this stay truly unique and we can go home feeling refreshed (In fact we don’t want to go home)
