Farm Holiday Cottage With Uninterrupted Sea Views | Parc-Isaf

Near BeachNear PubReal FireFarm Stay

Set off a beautiful 1 mile, tree lined drive leading up to the hills, this farm holiday cottage with uninterrupted sea views is a beautiful stone barn conversion with everything you need for a great holiday. The location is really special and the views need to be seen to be believed.

Set on one floor, all the rooms come off a central corridor that runs along the length of the cottage with the kitchen at one end and the sitting room at the other. The large kitchen is the hub of the cottage; everything you would need is here along with new appliances. The all-oak units give it a homely feel and the solid dining table and chairs are the perfect addition for getting everyone together for meals.

The conservatory that leads off from the kitchen has the showstopper views and most certainly where you will find yourself with a gin and tonic in hand for an evening of taking in the sunsets.

There are two bedrooms; one double and a twin. Both rooms have been stylishly decorated and the blankets and cushions add to the cosy feel. The views from both rooms are incredible; waking up to the view of the sea is pretty idyllic. There is one bathroom which has a shower over bath set up.

The outside space as you will imagine does not disappoint, lots of open space along with an enclosed, raised patio area where you can sit out and eat alfresco, or just sit and take in the calm and tranquillity.

The cottage is situated just on the outskirts of Dyffryn Ardudwy. As it is located on the drive towards Gor Y Gedol Hall, it means that its position has the most incredible views of the sea and the mountains as a backdrop. The actual property itself has its own very well kept lawn with outside seating so you really can take advantage of its position.

Dyffryn Ardudwy is a large village and has a spar which is also home to an award winning butchers. A pub and garage are also here.

15 minutes south will bring you to Barmouth. The quintessential seaside town where you will find a great variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops along with a harbour, the beach, a funfair and all the paraphernalia that comes with a seaside town. A good place to mention is Norbar which is only a 10 minutes drive from the house and a great place for eating.

15 minutes to the north is the smaller town of Harlech where we have the castle along with a good selection of cafes and shops - again a great beach here along with a swimming pool, climbing wall and the famous Royal St Davids Golf Course.

You are also very well placed to explore the other great towns and villages in Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. Llanberis is home to Electric Mountain and the National Slate Museum, Beddgelert has some lovely cafes and gift shops, and Betws Y Coed is home to the famous Swallow Waterfalls. Activities like Zip World and Surf Snowdonia are within an hours drive. There are also plenty of watersports available to take part in on the lakes and beaches along with the obvious walking and cycling opportunities available here.

Our second stay in this cosy and extremely comfortable accommodation.
Spotless on arrival with clear advice provided about various aspects of the cottage.
Milk, flowers, wine and the log burner ready to go was left for us and very much appreciated.
Spent alot of our time sitting in the snug conservatory taking in the uniterupted sea view.
Walked and walked some more in gorgeous spots close by.
Have been visiting this area since childhood a very special place.
Our stay in this accommodation exemplified this.
Thankyou again.

We had such a fabulous week at Ysgubor Newdd, with the bonus of amazing weather.
The property is spacious, beautifully clean and very well equipped. The sea views from the conservatory and patio are breathtaking and we saw several beautiful sunsets.
We really love this area of Wales, with the mountains, rocky rivers and glorious beaches.
A big thank you to the lovely Sian for a very warm welcome and for being so helpful.
Can’t wait to stay again and maybe another time of year.
Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful week at Ysgubor Newydd! The location was so peaceful with the most beautiful sea views and sunsets, and was also within easy reach of plenty of amazing, quiet white sand beaches. The house itself was spotlessly clean and so well equipped too, it really made the perfect holiday. Thank you so much Sian and family for letting us share it with you!

Lovely bungalow with beautiful views. The bungalow was spotless which meant so much to us. There was everything we
needed on hand.

Gorgeous cottage, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean with sensational views, a plethora of things to do nearby – beaches are stunning – and a warm Welsh welcome from Sian – diolch yn fawr iawn!

We had a two night stay at Parc Isaf. It was a beautifully kept accommodation with a real log fire. The accommodation is overlooking fields full of sheep and lambs with a stunning view of the sea. The owner was very helpful and welcoming too.

Lovely cottage, cosy and very clean. Very peaceful location but conveniently placed to explore from. Beautiful sea views, we watched two stunning sunsets from the comfort of the conservatory. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again. The host left us a bottle of red wine and milk in the fridge which was a nice touch.

We recently returned from a four day stay at Parc Isaf. The property is delightful, spacious and clean. We enjoyed our g&t in the conservatory looking out at the sea and also woodland walks close by. Trips into Barmouth and Porthmadog were also enjoyable. We were warm and cosy in the evenings with the log burner. Thankfully my daughter has one at home so is a master at the art of using them! All together a lovely break inspite of experiencing a lot of rain but having had our own holiday homes in Wales over a number of years it is something we’ve been used to and we’ve never let it spoil valuable time away. We would happily return.

We found this to be a very well appointed and comfortable cottage with great views. We loved the conservatory a great place to sit and quietly read. We had never been to the Barmouth area before so quite enjoyed the exploration the highlight was Harlech Castle. We ate out most nights there is plenty of choice in the local area. Thank you an enjoyable stay; shame about the weather however we can’t blame you for that!
