Two Bedroom Holiday Cottage Near Llanddwyn Beach | Ty-Chi

We were the last to contribute pre lockdown and were first to contribute to the guest book post covid.
Another wonderful break in this beautiful cottage/location – just what the doctor ordered.!
We’ve visited parts of the island we have seen before, or not for a long time.Done some fabulous walks,covered quite a bit of the Coastal Path.Some great circular walks ( Rhosneigr,North Stack/South Stack and Holyhead Mountain, Malltraeth – Newborough beach.
At times its felt like we had the island to ourselves! Blisfully quiet, seeing the island at its best.
Already looking forward to returning sometime soon.Hope things return to some form of normality for Jane and Anne.

Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing break. The cottage is spot on-we always seek somewhere quiet, surrounded by natural beauty, with a floor to ceiling window to enjoy spectacular views Tŷ Chi fits the bill better than any of the many previous cottages we have stayed in.
Additionally it was clean, well appointed with everything we could have needed.
Looking forward to returning already.

We had a lovely week at Ty Chi. The accommodation is of a very high standard and extremely tasteful. It is comfortable, well equipped and in a beautiful part of Anglesey. It is a place that we will definitely return to. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

I booked this cottage because it looked so lovely and I was not disappointed. As soon as you walk through the cottage door you see the thoughtful and personal touches within even leaving a dog bed and some toys for our pampered pooch and a football for our son. This is a stunning cottage with immaculate facilities and decor. Jane, the owner, so friendly and helpful with tips for days out too. We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend away in this beautiful cottage and will definitely be returning.

WOW! We have visited many places on Anglesey but this one was by far the best, it had everything you need to enjoy a beautiful stay on this beautiful Island. The owners who live next door were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay and really went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. In my opinion You will not find a more perfect place for a relaxing break. We will definitely be returning.

Our family had a lovely stay at the cottage over Christmas. The place was equipped with everything that we needed, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Jane and Ann for all the thoughtful details which made our visit special and memorable.

A wonderful second stay at Ty Chi. Thanks again for the warm welcome and goodies. We didn’t appreciate that a winter stay would be so fabulous.
Returning to Newborough during winter allowed us to explore LLanddwyn Bay and the stunning Llanddwyn Island. The island is a photographers paradise.
We also ventured out to places new (to us), riding out to Moelfre ( Ann’s Pantry is excellent), Amlwch and Cemaes Bay and we couldn’t resist returning to Beaumaris.
All in a long weekend with wonderful winter sunshine.

We have had a wonderful half term break. The cottage is lovely, plenty of room for the three of us,clean, stunning views , lovely welcome pack.
We have packed so much into this week! Newborough beach and the island, Beaumaris Castle, Menai Bridge Swellies tour, South Stack, RAF Valley,Transport Museum, finishing off with Zip World. Hallowen Night in Betws Y Coed. Everyday has been wonderful. I still feel we missed out lots.
Food has been great – ate lots of Menai mussels! Finally my son has found a new found love of horses, thanks to your retired friendly horses. He has enjoyed petting them and feeding them.
We would love to return.

A lovely and restful week. The cottage is beautiful. The view is glorious. Comfortable, well equipped with thoughtful touches – we loved the wood burner. Anglesey never fails to please and the weather has been both wonderful and dramatic.

We can certainly verify and reiterate all that has already been said in earlier reviews of Ty Chi! We had a wonderful short break in an area with which we are familiar. We are also familiar with, and appreciative of, the quality and attention to aesthetic detail which is a signature of Dioni properties. If you are someone who enjoys the perfect combination of luxury with a home-from-home feel, Ty Chi will tick all the boxes.

Suffice to say that all the other reviews of this beautiful cottage are true! We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Tÿ Chi, an area with which we are familiar. We have stayed in many other accommodations near-by but the level of quality and attention to aesthetic detail, which is a signature of Dioni properties, brings Ty Chi out tops. If you appreciate a perfect balance of luxury with a home-from-home feel, you will love Ty Chi.

If there is a more relaxing, comfortable place to recover from the stresses and strains of everyday monotony, we have yet to find it!

We were the first visitors to this very special cottage way back in March and couldn’t wait to return for a full week of winding down and recharging our batteries!

The first thing we noticed was how beautifully clean and well cared for everything is. After a summer season of constant use we expected some wear and tear but everything seems as new as the first time we came.

Another thing that never changes is the warmth of the welcome! Jane and Anne are amazing host and ensure that everything is provided for their guests. Since we were here in March they have provided an additional facility of a laundry and even a games/ fitness room for the youngsters.

We are so lucky to have you two in our lives and consider you as true friends for life.

So wonderful to be back in Anglesey again .Three years since we’ve been and I’d forgotten how much we love it.

The cottage is fabulous and a credit to you both. You can feel the hard work and love that has gone into creating it. We felt instantly at home and your extra special touches are wonderful. Great to have such thoughtful hosts.

A short and sweet visit this time but we packed a lot in.
Surfing at Cable Bay our regular trip to Llanddwyn Island, blessed with glorious weather, ideal for children. From Lligwy to Dulas and our favourite beach, Traeth Yr Ora.

Wow, where to start!
As a family we were excited to get away and spend some much needed time together.The last five days has totally exceeded all expectations.
From start to finish Jane has been the perfect host.Having arrived at this truly beautiful home, set in breathtaking surroundings we were greeted with welcoming big smiles. The cottage itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated and we love the sentiment and history behind it. The welcome pack was much appreciated and once again personalised for all the family having included treats for the lads and even our dog, Ruby.
The cottage has everything you could possibly need, it’s clean and a lot of thought has gone into it. The lads particularly enjoyed the games available to them and having their own en-suite was all very exciting.
After spending our days exploring the island there was no better way to finish and evening than out in the garden, Bbq lit, a glass of gin and tonic and melted marshmallows for the lads.Its incredibly tranquil and its been lovely to sit back and take it all in.
This was our first trip to Anglesey and its been amazing.We never realised how beautiful it was, promise to be back.
Pretty much everything with 15/20 min drive which is great with young children. Outstanding beaches, Jack thoroughly enjoyed looking for crabs and even Holly overcame her fear of picking them up. We particularly enjoyed Newborough beach and Rhosneigr beach.The bike ride and walks around Llangefni were also enjoyable and we were lucky enough to see three red squirrels.
We have plenty of wonderful memories and cannot thank you enough for all of your help and support and for allowing us to experience Tŷ Chi. We wish you ever success in the coming months.

Beautiful well equipped cottage. Great escape from the reality of Life. We all had a fantastic time, some lovely walks in the local lanes, Llangefni and beaches various.
Some great places to eat, surprised how many let dogs in, specially recommend the Sea Shanty at Trearddur Bay.

Jane has done an amazing job creating Ty Chi. Every aspect of the cottage has been well thought out, well designed and well executed. Plenty of outside space for the dog ( safe and secure yard for when she ran away too! ) and the cottage is spacious and homely. High spec bathrooms and kitchen give a luxury hotel feel with the homeliness of a holiday cottage. Best of both here! Ty Chi is the perfect destination for a quiet weekend away but is also close enough to the beach at Newborough and other local attractions to keep you busy for longer. 5 stars wouldn’t be enough for this gem.

Peace and tranquility Ty Chi is a perfect retreat. Tastefully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. A wonderful welcome gift and a pass to use for Newborough beach, which is beautiful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here, 5 star all the way. Our dog loved basking in the sunny garden and enjoyed the little treat left for him also.

This cottage is beautiful. Spent a wonderful weekend there with sunny weather. It has everything you need and lovely touches like the welcome box including eggs from the hens. Jane and Anne are so helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend.

Cannot recommend Ty Chi and the owner Jane highly enough. A marvelous setting, extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need on holiday. Jane is a wonderful host, so welcoming on our arrival and a pleasure to chat to. Little things mean a lot and Jane provided plenty of these, including a ‘goodies’ box and freshly laid eggs from her ‘ladies’. We will definitely return.

we have just arrived home from a week at Ty chi that was by far the best cottage we have stayed in .Jane and Anne have done an amazing job with Ty chi ,beautiful interior with quality furnishings the beds were so comfortable we all slept well from the first night, never normally happens. views of the mountains were lovely and great garden and meadow for Izzy the dog who loved it ,Jane and Anne left us a wonderful welcome pack (the fresh eggs from their chickens were very enjoyable ) .We hope to return thank you Jane and Anne for letting us share your perfect place .

We have had a lovely week at Ty Chi. Great location, so peaceful, and loved watching the changing mountain landscape through the big window! The cottage was super comfortable we loved the little extras. The kids loved the garden games and the swivel chair in the lounge! We made our way around the island but the highlights were seeing a red squirrel, a rib ride on the straits, Lligwy Beach and a walk around South Stack. Thank you for a great week!

Ty-Chi really is a 5 star holiday cottage among the very best we have visited. Everything was of the highest quality and standard- it was tempting just to sit and bathe in the beautiful views! With the bird life for entertainment. The welcome and the welcome pack was a great introduction. Many Thanks Jane for a super break!

What an absolutely amazing holiday cottage we’ve found in Ty Chi!
Pre-arrival communications and travel instructions were very useful and clear. Upon arrival the welcome hamper was wonderful – Thanks! The fresh eggs were delicious- as were the cakes and treats!
The cottage itself was exceptional – extremely well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. The long weekend (Fri-Mon) was our first stay at Anglesey and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for the use of the parking pass for Newborough beach – wonderful walks enjoyed there yesterday! We also enjoyed Beaumaris, the castle and harbour are picturesque! Ivy the pooch has enjoyed her first trip too, she loves the biscuits and will miss the big comfy dog bed too! We’d love to return, this was a special ‘big’ birthday treat to remember and treasure!
Thank you for the super stay, we will miss those stunning views!

Stunning! What a fabulous place, the cottage, the views, the beaches. We are sorry to be leaving but will be back as soon as you can fit us in.

Completely surpassed our expectations! What a fabulous find, Jane you should be so proud of Ty-Chi-it is by far the most wonderful holiday cottage we have stayed in. You have thought of everything. We were so touched by the little extras provided including the little toy chicken for our daughter. We feel very privileged to be the first official guests and cannot make one suggestion to improve things-its perfection already! Thank you so much for a great weekend!

A little piece of heaven on earth! It has been a great privilege to be the very first guests in this amazing cottage. Every effort has been made to ensure the comfort of their guests, both in the style, the design and the practical needs of visitors. Truly inspirational! Having seen the original dilapidated farm buildings, witnessing the transformation has been remarkable! A true labour of love! The location is a perfect haven of peace and tranquility and yet within easy reach of beaches, pubs and shops and other visitor attractions on the island. Above all, the warmth of the welcome from Jane and Anne genuinely and sincerely wishing their guests have a wonderful stay creates that “home from home” feeling that makes us want to return time and time again! What a truly amazing place in a stunning setting! Such a well equipped and cosy cottage, we really enjoyed our stay. Jane and Anne were very welcoming and gave us tips about where to visit. Just have to say what a fabulous cottage. Perfect in every way. Loved all the little extras and that I could cook a nice meal as all the herbs etc are provided here as well as the little bits for the dog and the boys. We have had an amazing stay and been on beautiful walks. We have seen so much wildlife, red squirrels, seals, sea birds and adders! We will definitely be back! Best wishes

We have had a wonderful and very peaceful week in this wonderful cottage. Jane, you have done a fabulous job converting this building into what is now a beautifully furnished and well equipped holiday getaway. The setting is quiet and tranquil with beautiful views out to Snowdonia but there is still so much to see and do both her on Anglesey and on the mainland close by. Your attention to detail is second to none and the welcome basket of fruit, cakes etc plus all the store cupboard ingredients is great. We wish you every success with your venture and hope to return again soon.

The photo on the website, although good, do not do it justice! What a lovely place to relax and be on your holidays. Perfect for the three of us and our young black Labrador in training. Very welcoming and homely with great attention to detail on all aspects. Our first stay on Anglesey and we will definitely return! Good luck on all your hard work, Best wishes.
