Four Bedroom Holiday Home With Views Over Cardigan Bay | Ty-Mari

Just arrived home after a perfect 3 night stay here with family. The property was beautiful and the views were absolutely stunning. We were blessed with good weather which made it even better! We made use of the BBQ each night we stayed which was great! I would highly recommend this property, the host was quick to respond and couldnt be more helpful and allowed us to check in a little early which was really appreciated after an almost 5 hour drive! Check in was super easy via a lockbox. Thank you for your kindness and allowing us to have a fantastic much needed break, in this beautifully spacious, clean, stunning property!

A great place to stay. The house was super clean. Rooms large and airy with fantastic views of Harlech beach. Kitchen had all the amenities. Brilliant place to stay. Recommended.

Had the most perfect stay at this beautiful house with family. Fantastic outside, decked area to really appreciate the outstanding view looking over Harlech bay. The children had a smashing time, playing hide & seek, board games (all provided) and just having the space to relax. The kitchen was amazing, absolutely everything you needed and more! Gutted we didn’t get chance to use the BBQ. The house is not only beautiful but super clean and the beds were super comfy! With all the lovely hotel touches. This property really is a special place, perfectly situated (walking distance to the pub & beach). We will certainly be returning. Big thank you to Jennie, the most perfect host. We’re all so, so sad to be home but have amazing memories! Roll on next time we visit.

A lovely property with amazing views. Everything we needed and even managed to park three cars. Our grandsons loved their attic rooms where they could escape from the adults. After a day on the beach it was good to relax in the spacious outdoor area. We did have difficulty seating all eight of us around the dining table, but that was the only problem we faced. We can’t believe it has taken so long for us to discover Harlech with its fabulous beach and wonderful castle.

We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Everything we could have ever needed and more was instantly available. The views were absolutely breathtaking……we loved it that much we even tried to add on an extra day stay last minute.

What a beautiful house in a wonderful location – high up on the hill Ty-Mari has the most spectacular views it is truly breathtaking, we were totally captivated! Harlech beach is stunning and very clean (out of season we enjoyed walking the dogs in both directions but the dog-friendly section April-Sept is still very long so you definitely wouldn’t miss out!). Dogs are also welcome in Harlech Castle (definitely worth a visit), as well as on the trains & buses so plenty of opportunity to fully explore too if you want to leave the car behind.

There is much to see, from the porch to the wonderful nature around.

What a wonderful house. It is much bigger that I expected. The views are simply stunning and the new decking area looks amazing. I will be booking to go back ASAP. Very well equipped kitchen. It has everything you need.

Perfect Xmas stay at Ty-Mari for family of 5 and small dog. House was decorated beautifully for Xmas and the place was even available early for our Xmas Eve arrival to get set up. Amazing location, views are incredible, easy 10 min walk down into Harlech (beware the route back is Uphill!) The beach and coast are fantastic, absolutely loved our Xmas and Boxing day walks along the sand. Golf course is one of the best I’ve ever played. House was tidy, clean, really well laid out, and the owner was so helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend Ty-Mari.

We had a fantastic stay in Ty Mari. The views are breathtaking and the home is so well equipped. We had 2 dogs and 2 babies and it catered for both perfectly. Thank you for making us feel so welcome with the wonderful arrival book. Everything was so detailed we didn’t even need to contact the hosts once! Will certainly be looking to visit again in the future.

Just had a fantastic 4 day break at Ty-Mari. Could not fault the house, it is absolutely beautiful, warm and inviting. The views at the back from the bedrooms and living rooms are breathtaking and lifted my soul waking up to that every morning and watching the sun go down every evening. Everything you need is provided…. it literally is a home-from-home. Even though our break was in October, we were so lucky with the weather and managed to get out every day with so much to see and do in that area. I personally loved the nearby beach of Llandanwg which is directly opposite the housing estate. You must visit the tiny church there hiding behind a sand dune! Will definitely miss my morning walks there before breakfast…. and so will my dog Sally! Any little niggles (never used a nerf hob before) were soon sorted out with a quick call to Jennifer who was lovely and patient explaining exactly how to work it. Would recommend this house in a heartbeat. Thank you for a lovely stay making precious memories with my elderly parents.

We spent a lovely few nights here as a base for a walking holiday. The house is very spacious and well equipped, we particularly loved the views, the showers and the roomy kitchen. The bottle of fizz, beer and Welsh cakes were a nice touch as well. When we had a minor electrical issue, the owner Jennifer was quick to help us out and directed a neighbour to come round and help fix it.

The town is a short walk away and has nice shops and takeaways. The beach is also a steep but quick journey, which our dog loved. Overall I’d really recommend Ty Mari.

Our 2nd visit to Ty-Mari this year and it didn’t disappoint. Appreciated the new coffee machine.
This house has everything we need and we love the amazing views.
We even had perfect weather and took our dogs to the beach every day. We’ll be back soon.

We enjoyed the great views of the beach and Snowdonia from the house.

We had a lovely relaxing time as a family at Ty Mari and were made to feel at home by Jennie who was a amazing host. The view was as stunning as hoped and worth the up-hill walks. Everything was well equipped so we ended up cooking lots of our meals at the house and on the bbq as we wanted to stay and enjoy the view. The upstairs game room was very much appreciated by my Niece.
We enjoyed strolling into Harlech to the deli, pub, castle and the ice cream shop. The main beach we visited in Harlech was beautiful and would love to return in slightly warmer weather.
Also a great base for visiting other places like Barmouth, not far away, where we enjoyed food at Nor Bar, Fanny Talbot and stopped for a drink at The Victoria pub on the way back which has a great garden.

Our week was over too fast.
Ty Mari was a welcoming house for any family of any size from small to large and every time we came back after our trip’s it felt like home the moment we walked in and stood on the comfy carpets and made a nice cuppa.
The view from the house was stunning, the sunset pictures we have will be turned into wall art as they were so good and great memories.
To go from a busy noisy town in Sussex to calm quiet town like Harlech was great.
No noise at all.
I think there are so many great things about the house but 1 of the best things for us was the tap that gave instant boiling water as we did drink “a few” cups of tea every day, but also the showers in the bathrooms.
Great position to be able to travel out whether to Mount Snowdon for views or Caernarfon for a Castle or the other way to find the Mach Loop if you like fast jets.
Big shops like Tesco are not too far away in Porthmadog but the suggestion of getting a shopping delivery for when you arrive is a good one too.
We have a new liking for the 20mph speed limits thru towns, which you learn quickly but why is it not across the country?

Our stay was perfect and we would recommend Ty Mari to everyone.

We had a great stay in this lovely house, even though we were there for the worst storm in 10 years!
It’s a lovely, modern, spacious house in a great location. There are brilliant walks on the doorstep (don’t be scared of the steep hill, it’s not that bad!), we loved taking our dogs on the beach and into the hills.
Even though the weather was awful we were cosy and warm and enjoyed the magnificent view.

Lovely location, we spent the Christmas here and we felt like home! The view is amazing, overseeing the beach and the village is also very welcoming! We had all amenities we needed and plenty of space available! Ohh yes, the chimney was the cherry on the cake!! Lighting up the fire after a windy and rainy walk to the beach was just perfect! Jennifer was friendly and helpful, great communication – thank you so much and we will definitely comeback during summer!

We had a fabulous week in this lovely house. The house was immaculate and well equipped and the views are simply stunning. There were only 2 of us plus our little 4 legged friend companion, but it would be such a great house to fill with friends or family. Nearby beaches are gorgeous and dog friendly. We loved it, thank you.

Ty-Mari is a fantastic holiday base and a beautiful house. The kitchen is the real heart-of-the-home and as two families totalling 8 people (plus dog), we spent most of our time between there and the garden patio with its breathtaking views across the sea. BBQs on the terrace watching the sun set were just the best. The bedrooms are generous and the whole place is really well appointed. The kids had their own space for hanging out as there’s a playroom at the top of the house and the enormous living room meant not being on top of each other. Parking for two cars was easy both on the drive and to the front of the property. It’s a short wander into lovely Harlech and as well as shopping in the super independent shops we visited Llew Glas cafe a number of times (perfect for a morning coffee) had drinks on the terrace at Plas Restaurant and a few more at the Lion Inn (Harlech House). Shout out to Y Groser on the high Street, it’s an unassumingly superb deli and should be your morning stop off for fresh bread and literally everything else.

The beach is an easy 25 or so minute wander down and a less easy walk back up but like everything in Harlech, the pay-off is worth it. Especially if you head straight to the Lion Inn after the walk. Or grab an ice cream if you prefer. The slate caverns at Llanfair are another easy walk away and definitely worth a visit. It was very warm when we went and exploring those cool caverns on a hot afternoon was perfect.

We loved Ty-Mari so much we’ve already booked for next year. Cannot wait!

When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack and amazing views over Harlech beach and across the bay.
The house itself was modern, clean and had lots of amenities and the owners had clearly thought long and hard about the needs of their customers with Sky TV, a decking area with BBQ, a games room with games console and lots of board games and an EV Charger.
I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

From walking in and gasping at the view..to sitting on the decking watching the snow on the mountains..to the stunning sunsets ..this house has been a delight ..so dog friendly with throws left for us to use and a kitchen with everything you needed.
The beaches nearby where beautiful and although not much was open ( end of feb/beginning of march ) it was an amazing base for Barmouth ,Portmeirion and Porthmadog ..highly recommended.

My 2 night booking to celebrate my mothers 70th Birthday was a great success thanks to the great house and attention to detail shown.
From the amazing views, the consideration for small kids and the welcome snacks/ wine the weekend has been a memorable one that I will happily recommend to anyone.

Where do I start with this stunning property. It is so thoughtfully laid out and they seem to have catered for everyone in what it provided. There was even treats for the dogs. But the very best thing about this property is the location, the views are amazing. A restful amazing family weekend

Loved this house! Immaculately clean, spacious enough for three generations and teenagers. The views are fab and having to use a car to get down to beaches etc was easy.

Ty Mari was a fabulous house with lots of space for all of the family from grandparents to grandchildren. The whole house was immaculately clean and all of the bedrooms were comfortable with lots of storage. The kitchen diner was huge and had every cooking gadget we needed. The views are outstanding as the house is high up in Harlech and as a family of generations, we took the car to most places we visited nearby such as Shell Island, Barmouth and Zip World. A fabulous place!
