Easter Activities at Plas Newydd, Anglesey | 5 – 27 April

Inspired by Plas Newydd’s theatrical history, this Easter, spring is putting on a show. Plas Newydd invites you on a journey through the gardens, transformed into a living stage where nature takes the spotlight. £3.50 per trail, which includes an Easter sheet, bunny ears, and an Easter egg reward when you complete the trail.

Egg-tastic Easter Activities at Foel Farm Park, Anglesey | 5 – 27th April

Join in with special activities including egg hunts around the farm, seed planting, face painting, lamb feeding and Easter activity sheets, as well as meeting newborn animals and petting the bunnies. 

Easter Adventures at Penrhyn Castle & Gardens, Bangor | 5 – 27 April 

Follow a ten point trail around the grounds, join in an Easter tea party and take part in some welly throwing. At the end of the trail collect a chocolate egg. In the castle, look out for colourful eggs created by crafty volunteers. 

Greenwood Forest Park Dinosaurs | 5 -27 April

This Easter, dinosaurs are taking over at Greenwood Forest Park. Venture in the ancient woodland to track down these prehistoric creatures, hunt for fossils and follow the dinosaur egg trail. 

Easter Egg Hunt, Bodnant Garden | 5-27 April

Have an egg-shellent Easter as you explore the garden at Bodnant. Find out more about all kinds of eggs, from the tiny insect eggs that are hidden below rocks to the biggest bird egg you can find in a garden! ÂŁ3.50 per trail, which includes an Easter sheet, bunny ears, and an Easter egg reward when you complete the trail. 

RSPB Conwy Wildlife Explorer’s Club | 6 April

A fun event for young nature lovers – get creative with some Easter games, and egg-themed activities! Booking essential. 

RSPB Conwy Guided Wildlife Walk | 12 April

Join the knowledgeable RSPB guides and discover the wonderful wildlife of RSPB Conwy. Receive expert commentary on all aspects of natural history, as they aim to spot 50 species in just a couple of hours! Booking required. 

The Great Easter Eggsperience at Manorafon Farm Park | 12 – 21 April

Are you ready for an EGGS-tra EGG-citing Easter event? The Great Easter Eggsperience is the perfect family day out, with an egg hunt, seed planting, baby bunnies and chicks, an Easter show and the Easter Bunny in his grotto, not to mention all the usual animals and plenty of indoor and outdoor play options to keep little ones entertained!

Anglesey Open Studios, Anglesey | 12 – 27 April 2025

Painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, printmakers, installation artists and crafters across Anglesey will be opening their studios during Anglesey Arts Weeks. With over 59 studios and galleries to explore this is a real grown up Easter Hunt for the adults – view the event map here.

Join in the Easter trail while you explore the beautiful gardens of Plas yn Rhiw, and discover nature-inspired activities for all the family. ÂŁ3.50 per trail, which includes an Easter sheet, bunny ears, and an Easter egg reward when you complete the trail. 

Guided Tour, Caernarfon Castle | 17 April

Join the castle custodians for a 45-minute walking tour of Castell Caernarfon and discover the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site. 

Criccieth

Criccieth Castle Guided Tour | 17 April

Take a tour with guide Deian ap Rhisiart and discover the secrets of Criccieth castle. Follow in the footsteps of the soldiers who tried to capture the castle, then step into the shoes of the legendary Owain Glyndŵr’s generals, as they capture and torch the castle. An interesting and informative tour that will bring history to life for all the family!

Collect a trail map from the visitor centre and join the hunt for a chocolate prize!

History Tour at Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey | 18 April

Discover the fascinating history of this wonderful World Heritage Site with a guided tour which delves into the history of Beaumaris Castle and how it links to the other World Heritage sites in the area. 

World Heritage Day Tour, Castell Harlech | 18 April

Join guide Siân Roberts and discover the stories behind the stones of this spectacular structure. Travel in time from the days before the building existed to the 21st century, and find out who and what have made this castle so famous and so worthy of being part of a World Heritage Site.

Medieval Eggstravaganza, Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey | 18 – 21 April

House of the Black Star will set up a medieval encampment in the castle grounds and demonstrate life in medieval times. Watch the archers loose their arrows, join in with a spear drill and try on some armour, or join the circus workshop, learn how to juggle, balance on stilts, or use a diablo – everyone’s welcome to have a go! There’ll be an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday and Monday, where you can find the clues, work out the answer and escape the castle to claim your prize.

Easter Egg Hunt, Llanberis Lake Railway | 18 – 21 April 2025

The White Rabbit has once again hidden all his eggs around the railway thinking no one else will find them! Can you help? All Easter Egg hunters will receive a prize.

Easter Eggstravaganza, Denbigh Castle | 19 & 20 April

Watch ‘The Princes Retinue’ display their skill and knowledge of medieval life and battle, while the talented Wipperginnees entertain with song and dance performances. Unleash your creativity at the Easter craft table or take part in the Easter trail challenge.

Easter Quest at Castell Caernarfon | 19 & 20 April

The last dragon egg has been secured in Castell Caernarfon, and is guarded by a set of clues and a knightly protector.Follow the clues to find the egg and, in return, you’ll be made an official Dragon Protector (and receive a chocolate prize for your troubles).

Hop on in this Easter Sunday, enjoy craft activities and follow the clues to find the golden egg.

‘Fooling Around’, Plas Mawr, Conwy | 20 April

Come and meet the Conwy Jester and let him entertain you with his foolish fun. Join in fun, games, activities and take part in the annual Easter Egg hunt. 

Conwy Castle Knight’s Graduation Quest | 20 April

Carwyn the trainee guard is supposed to be graduating tomorrow, but the guards have played a prank on him and hidden his uniform and armour around the castle. Can you find all of his uniform before his graduation? Carwyn has left some Easter treats to give out to anyone who helps!

Criccieth Castle Easter Egg Hunt | 20 April

On Easter Sunday, visit Castell Criccieth and join their annual Easter Egg Hunt! There are numbered and differently coloured Easter eggs hidden around the castle for you to find – all children who take part will be rewarded with a chocolate egg.

Legends, Myths & Tales at Criccieth Castle | 24 April

Come and listen to traditional Welsh legends, myths and tales, illustrated with folk songs and airs played on a harp, at this Criccieth Castle event.
