Q: The Vision: What inspired you to bring your business to life here in North Wales?

A: “As someone born and bred in North Wales, this landscape is woven into my identity, it is home, and I truly couldn’t imagine bringing this business to life anywhere else. My vision was to bridge the gap between traditional Welsh roots and the high-end, bespoke experiences usually reserved for big metropolitan cities. I wanted to prove that you don’t need to travel to London or Manchester to find cutting-edge CAD design, 3D printing, and goldsmithing. By planting my workshop firmly in Talysarn, I get to create exceptional, heirloom-quality jewellry right here in the communities that inspire me every day, combining a hyper-local heartbeat with world-class craftsmanship.”

Q: The Connection: How does this community or landscape influence the way you work or what you offer? 

A: “The community of North Wales directly shapes the way I work. Jewellery is deeply personal, and the trust people place in me to remodel family heirlooms or design bespoke wedding rings is a reflection of the close, authentic relationships we build here. Being part of this community allows me to work with a level of care, warmth, and individual connection that you simply cannot replicate in a larger city. This local heartbeat extends far beyond our borders, too; almost everyone I create a piece for, even clients based across the UK or abroad, shares a meaningful, personal connection to Wales. Whether they live locally or are longing for home, my workshop allows me to anchor their stories in Welsh heritage, crafting each piece with the same intimacy and devotion.”

Q: The High Street: What is the most rewarding part of running a local independent venture here?

A: “The most rewarding part of running an independent venture here is getting to be a tangible part of people’s life stories and happiest milestones. As a jeweller, I am not just selling a product; I am crafting symbols of love, commitment, and memory. Because I am independent, I get to build real, unhurried relationships with my clients. There is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a local person in the street wearing a ring I custom-made for them, or seeing the raw emotion when a client sees their grandmother’s old, broken gold transformed into a stunning, modern heirloom. In a small community, you get to see the direct, joyful impact of your work every single day.”

Q: The Perfect Day: If a holiday guest had just one afternoon to live like a local, where would you tell them to go? 

A: “Although my workshop is now based in Talysarn, I was proudly brought up in Llanbedrog. If you’re visiting the area, I highly suggest taking a walk up Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd to see the iconic Tin Man sculpture, before heading down for a stroll along the beach. It’s the perfect loop to finish off with a nosy around the art gallery and a slice of homemade cake at Plas Glyn y Weddw.”

Q: The Sisterhood: Is there another local woman in business or the arts whose work you truly admire?

A: “I truly admire the incredibly talented women at Siop Iard Caernarfon. They run a brilliant, independent, female-owned shop that showcases outstanding handmade Welsh jewellry.”
