Top 5 Family Holiday Cottages This Easter

Published on 26 Jan 2023 by Gwion Llwyd

Looking for a place to take the family away this Easter? Then we can help. North Wales is a wonderful place for families to get away and enjoy and depending on what you are looking for, there is plenty to do…..

Adventure activities including climbing, white water rafting, gorge walking and zip-lining are all on your doorstep whilst for those looking for something more low key might be tempted by the high ropes courses, mini theme parks and play centres. For those wanting to inject some culture and history into their offspring will be spoilt for choice by the 600 castles Wales has to offer.

However, if its good old fashioned time out in a cottage by the sea or mountains where hot chocolate, walking, log fires and board games are the choice of the day you wont be disappointed; there are miles of sandy beaches (with great sand dunes to run down), loads of stunning mountains and waterfalls to explore and Geo-Caching is big around here, so there is a treasure hunt to be had each and every day!

Here at Dioni, we have a number of perfect family retreats and to help you, we have picked out our top 5 family holiday cottages this Easter.

GROUND FLOOR COTTAGE PRIME ABERSOCH SEASIDE LOCATION | STABAL-SOCH

Sleeps 6 | Pet Friendly | Near Beach | Near Pub | Farm Stay

Admittedly we were lucky with the weather. The morning sun was reflecting off the blue sea as we enjoyed our breakfast out on the patio. But the ground floor holiday cottage complemented the weather wonderfully. Stabal-Soch is a one story converted stable block, so no stairs to worry about, and perfect of course if you can persuade Grandma and Grandpa to come along too. Facing south over Abersoch Bay and the mountains of southern Snowdonia beyond, the cottage makes the most of its prime seaside location.
