What’s On in Pembrokeshire This Autumn: Food, Drink & Music Festivals

Published on 1 Sep 2025 by Amy Greenwood

As summer fades and the colours of autumn sweep across Pembrokeshire, the season brings with it a different kind of energy. Fewer crowds make this a fantastic time to visit. The beaches are quieter, the walking trails more peaceful, and the slower pace invites you to explore at leisure.

But autumn in Pembrokeshire isn’t just about tranquillity – it’s also when some of the area’s most popular festivals light up the calendar. From family-friendly food fairs and bustling beer festivals to world-class live music, autumn in Pembrokeshire offers the perfect balance of laid-back outdoor adventures and lively cultural entertainment.

Let’s take a look at what’s on in Pembrokeshire this autumn.

A Feast of Flavours: Narberth Food Festival

When: 27 – 28 September 2025
Where: Town Moor, Narberth

As summer drifts into autumn, the market town of Narberth hosts one of Wales’ longest running food and drink events – the Narberth Food Festival. Now in its 25th year, the festival celebrates Pembrokeshire’s finest food producers, with two days of family-friendly entertainment including workshops, masterclasses and children’s activities alongside a delicious array of food stalls (all undercover!) and street food. With passionate guest chefs, toe-tapping live music and a buzzing community atmosphere, it’s a great event for foodies and families alike.

Good to Know: Under 16s go free, making this one of the most family-friendly festivals of the season.

A Weekend of Song: Other Voices

When: 30 October – 1 November 2025
Where: Cardigan

At the end of October Cardigan comes alive with the internationally acclaimed Other Voices – a three-day immersive music festival rooted in Welsh and Irish culture. Hosted by BBC 6 Music’s Huw Stephens, the event brings together over 80 performances across intimate venues like cafés, pubs, theatres and the atmospheric St. Mary’s Church.

The line-up is as eclectic as ever, spanning hip-hop, grime, folk, electronica, and more. Highlights this year include Glastonbury Emerging Talent winners Westside Cowboy, whose poetic indie rock has been turning heads; the much-beloved Ye Vagabonds, weaving beautiful folk melodies with harmonies that have earned them six RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards; and the one and only Gruff Rhys, celebrating his Welsh language album Dim Probs.

Don’t Miss Out: Headline performances take place in St Mary’s Church, but will be broadcast live via YouTube, and streamed to a cinema screen in Mwldan so you can tune in wherever you are.

Raise a Glass: Tenby Beer Festival

When: 7 – 8 November 2025
Where: De Valence Pavilion, Tenby

In early November, Tenby’s Beer Festival offers a spirited weekend of Welsh beers and ciders, showcasing craft brews from local breweries such as Tenby Brewing Co, HARBWR Brewery, and others. Held in the De Valence Pavilion, Welsh brews are accompanied by live music and a convivial festival spirit. It’s the perfect autumn weekend for those who like their evenings rich in flavour and cheer.

Good to Know: Wristbands include entry to the event as well as all drinks, so you can come and go as you please.

Blues by the Sea: Tenby Blues Festival

When: 14 – 16 November 2025
Where: Tenby

Before Christmas events take over the calendar, Tenby rounds off the autumn season in style with the Blues Festival. This award-winning event transforms the colourful seaside town into a soulful music hub. Over three days, around 50 acts perform across more than 20 venues, with many shows free to enjoy. From intimate pub sessions to ticketed headline gigs, it’s a festival that offers something for everyone, drawing Blues lovers from near and far.

Main stage artists include Erja Lyytinen, Sean ‘Mack’ McDonald, Aisha Khan and Her Rajahs, Panic Station, and Kaspar and the Swamp Dogs to name just a few.

Bonus Blues: Enjoy sessions from some of the UK’s best blues and roots acts as cafés, clubs, bars and hotels open their doors for two days of FREE live music from noon until 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Whether you’re sampling artisan cheeses in Narberth, raising a glass of local craft beer in Tenby, or swaying to the soulful sounds of blues by the sea, Pembrokeshire’s autumn festivals capture the very best of the season.

It’s a time of year that blends golden landscapes with delicious food, and unforgettable music. So, pack your walking boots, bring your appetite, and get ready to discover Pembrokeshire in autumn.
