Whether you’re fuelling up before a day of exploration, or in need of an afternoon caffeine fix, Two Islands is a must-visit.

3. A Headland Walk – Abersoch to Llanbedrog
Lace up your walking boots and enjoy a headland hike from Llanbedrog to Abersoch. This scenic route along the Wales Coast Path offers stunning views of Cardigan Bay and the surrounding countryside, and plenty of opportunities to soak in the tranquil beauty of the Welsh coast.
Start at the far end of The Warren beach, following the steps up to the coast path, from there weave your way along the headland until you reach the iconic ‘tin man’. Here there are spectacular panoramic views of the coast from Llanbedrog beach below, to Harlech in the far distance. From here, take the woodland path down to Oriel Plas Glyn-y-Weddw for a pit stop, before retracing your steps to Abersoch.
4. Crust Pizzeria
If you’re a fan of pizza, then Crust is another must-visit. Located opposite the inner harbour, this family-run pizzeria serves the best pizzas in town, made fresh to order and cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven. From a classic margherita to the spicy ‘meat crust’, there’s something to suit everyone. And for dessert? Kids (and grown-ups!) will love the indulgent Nutella pizza.
The atmosphere at Crust is relaxed and welcoming, with bench-style seating and a friendly, social vibe – don’t be surprised if you end up sharing a table with new faces! Popular with both locals and visitors, Crust gets especially busy during the holiday season. They don’t take bookings, so be sure to arrive early to snag a spot and avoid missing out!
5. A Trip to ‘Hell’s Mouth’
Just a few minutes’ drive from Abersoch, the famous Porth Neigwl (also known as Hell’s Mouth) beach is a four mile stretch of sand and pebbles known for its wild beauty. Exposed to the full force of the Atlantic, Hell’s Mouth’s raw nature and powerful waves make it popular with keen surfers.
Generally quiet, even in summer, this beach is perfect for dog walking, and a great place to go beach-combing for unusual shells, sea glass and driftwood.
