Welcome to Pennant-Igyn Lodge, a contemporary hillside haven where modern luxury rubs shoulders with the wildly beautiful landscapes of the Llyn Peninsula. As seen in the striking aerial views, this detached lodge rests high on the Welsh slopes, enveloped by rolling green farm pastures. While the main historic house, Pennant Igyn, sits within the same grounds, absolute privacy is guaranteed throughout your stay. You will enjoy your own dedicated parking area and a separate, fully enclosed garden, ensuring you don't have to make awkward small talk with the neighbours unless you want to.

Your guided tour begins on the expansive, wrap-around timber decking. Enclosed by sleek, contemporary dark posts and glass balustrades, the veranda is designed to maximise the sweeping countryside views without letting a single gust of wind disturb your morning brew. Follow the decking around to the front of the lodge, where large sliding glass patio doors invite you into a bright, beautifully appointed open-plan living space.

The transition from the rolling fields outside to the chic interiors is seamless, allowing the Welsh sunshine to flood the dining table. Turning our attention to the kitchen area, you'll find a beautifully appointed culinary space featuring sleek grey cabinetry, a built-in microwave, an oven with an extractor, and a skylight overhead to ensure perfect natural lighting. Positioned right next to the workspace is a four-seater dining table, smartly separated from the lounge by a low timber breakfast bar partition - ideal for chatting with the chef without getting under their feet.

Moving into the living area a massive, plush L-shaped wrap-around sofa dominates the space, offering a prime vantage point to look out over the private decking or focus on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Beneath the screen, a contemporary recessed log-effect electric fire provides a cozy, ambient glow. Continuing down the inner hallway, the private quarters are designed to keep family harmony intact. The primary bedroom features a spacious double bed and extensive overhead storage cabinets, while the twin bedroom offers a vibrant teal-accented layout.

Crucially, this holiday lodge with enclosed garden addresses the typical holiday queue for the plumbing by providing both a main family bathroom with a full-sized bath and an additional independent walk-in shower room wrapped in deep slate-grey tiling.

Location

Perched beautifully on the coastal slopes of Mynytho, Pennant-Igyn Lodge places you in a prime position to enjoy a rural farm stay with coastal convenience. Step outside into the private, fully enclosed lawned garden area where a traditional wooden picnic bench sits ready for open-air lunches against a backdrop of endless green fields. The lodge overlooks a dramatic shoreline where the land meets the sea. A gentle stroll or a two-minute drive down the lane will bring you to a welcoming near pub, making it incredibly easy to swap cooking duties for a pint of local Welsh ale.

When the coast calls, you are perfectly placed near the beach. A brief ten-minute hop down the hillside drops you right into the vibrant heart of Abersoch, famous for its pristine sheltered beach, colorful sailing regattas, and upscale bistro culture. Just a few miles further along the coast lies the idyllic bay of Llanbedrog. A stroll along its soft sand reveals the iconic row of multi-colored wooden beach huts alongside a sheltered beach ideal for paddleboarding.

For art enthusiasts, the historic headland path is home to the famous iron man sculpture standing guard over jaw-dropping views of Pwllheli.

For those looking to venture further afield, the rugged coastal tip of the peninsula offers exceptional wildlife watching. The dramatic coastal paths look out directly toward the historic Bardsey Island, where local sheep graze against a backdrop of the Irish Sea. Because the property warmly welcomes up to 2 pets, your dogs can tag along for every single mile. Whether you are aiming to surf the waves at Hell's Mouth, tee off at world-class clifftop golf courses, or journey 20 miles inland to the dramatic peaks of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, this holiday lodge with enclosed garden acts as your unbeatable coastal launchpad.
