We had an amazing week at this property, very spacious house, very quiet location, house is great and very well looked after, owners very friendly and welcoming and let us know they were only round the corner if we needed them, which we didn’t as everything was there for us.
Great walk down to the sea front and to the local high street, we will be more adventurous next time and walk into the hills!
We will return.

Had an amazing time here beginning of July 2017. Stayed with 6 other adults. The cottage was huge, clean, stocked up. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Great base to explore North Wales. I would definitely recommend this cottage. Just want to go back now.

We had an amazing time in Sycamore Cottage. We are a family party of 7 adults ages ranging from 49 to 85 we had a very comfortable stay and found Penmaenmawr a great central base as we travelled into Anglesey and also to Conwy and Llandudno. We hired a beach hut on Penmaenmawr sea front for £10 for the day where we BBQ’d and enjoyed the lovely weather North Wales provided. We did the challenging druids walk high above Penmaenmawr as well as a beautiful walk above the Synchant pass. It was very useful to be able to walk to the beautiful caravan site for extremely reasonably priced drinks in the bar. We would certainly recommend this beautiful house and the surrounding area.

We stayed in sycamore cottage for a week in May,well impressed with the size of the cottage and the cleanliness was outstanding,it was very comfortable and plenty of room in a quiet location in the beautiful area of Penmaenmawr just a 5 minute drive from the beach.

We stayed at Sycamore Cottage for 4 days in November for a special family birthday.
We were more than pleased with this beautiful spacious cottage.
It has ample space for all the family with the huge kitchen table being used for many family meals.
We were all very impressed with how clean and comfortable each room was.
We travelled to Aber Falls, Conway and Port Mairian.

We had the pleasure of staying at sycamore cottage for a week over half term. The house was absolutely fabulous, lots of space, perfect for my nephews running about and exploring! Lovely and warm, had every thing you could need. Huw was so helpful and made us really welcome. The area has so much to offer, scenery to fall in love with. Wonderful beaches, even in February! We stayed in Sycamore Cottage at the start of February and for 2 families with small children it had more than enough space, the kitchen/dining room is huge! WIFI worked perfectly and overall the place was very clean and tidy. Per some of the other comments, the only complaints (and they were pretty minor to us in the scheme of things) was the lack of extra cutlery and the lack of some items like soap(s) in the bathrooms/kitchen and dishwasher tablets etc, just a couple would be nice until you have chance to shop. However, the place is excellent and Huw (owner) is very welcoming and I’m sure would have provided some of those items had we asked.

A fabulous house in a beautiful location with great views. Lovely and warm, lots of space. Only niggle was there wasn’t enough equipment in the kitchen ie only 8 of everything which isn’t easy to prepare meals for 8 people with nothing spare.

We were a group of two families with young children. We really enjoyed staying at the cottage, which is enormous and very well laid out for socialising, as well as having enough space to spread out and not be on top of each other.

When we arrived, the wifi wasn’t working and didn’t work for two days. However, the owners were attentive and kept checking us to see if it was back. When it worked after those first two days, it was a good signal with no further issues.

We would suggest a few minor things to make any future stays even better:
– soap/handwash in the bathrooms
– hand towels in the bathrooms
– An option to have a second double bed (i.e. twin beds that can be joined together). As we were two families, which I wouldn’t think unusual in a house of that size, one set of parents had to have single beds
– a few more decorative touches, particularly around Christmas and New Year. Luckily, we had brought a few decorations to make the house feel a bit more festive/homely.

All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to friends. We would happily return in future.

We stayed with 6 friends for a golf trip on the North Wales coastal courses, which are beautiful. Sycamore is a great, spacious house at a central location. The rooms are big and clean, the showers are perfect. Hew is relaxed and helpful. Only two suggestions, a coffee machine and some extra cutlery. We had a very pleasant stay with excellent weather.

hello, weve just stayed a week in the sycamore cottage and it was lovely, perfect setting quiet and perfect for our needs the property was spacious and more than enough space for the four of us we had a warm welcome with hew driving down to meet us to show us the way as we got lost:) and they were on hand if and when we needed anything. Im a support worker with adults with learning difficulties and the holiday was for two services users I was impressed with the property and location that I will be recommending them to my manager to use in the future thank you xxx

Fantastic stay. Amazing cottage with everything that we needed. Huw and Co. were great. Could not ask for more. Cottage was spacious, spotlessly clean, ideal central location. Only minor niggle was quality of Wi-Fi, but that is it. Otherwise Perfect.

We had a great family reunion here over Christmas. Lots of space, good parking, great kitchen, great walks, beautiful surrounds. Huw & Sioned were wonderful if we needed anything; extra pots! Directions! Lovely people. We couldn’t have stayed anywhere nicer. Thankyou so much!! Highly recommended. Only suggestion would be a few more coat hooks at the front door and a can opener!!
