The location of this beautiful holiday accommodation is the stuff of seaside holiday dreams. A trio of holiday cottages – they are in fact cleverly configured apartments – which sits right at the water’s edge.

Hire individually (they sleep 4, 6 and 6 guests) or book all three together for a large group or family getaway. The holiday apartments are all pet friendly.

Characterful beachfront holiday cottages on the Llŷn Peninsula

The location is Llanbedrog headland – a quiet corner of the Llŷn cloaked by woodland and heath, around a mile from the ever-popular beach town of Abersoch. It is an idyllic escape for anyone who wants all the perks of Abersoch holidaying but fancies a little bit more peace and quiet to come home to.

The cottage apartments have been created from a historic Llŷn property, originally home to a row of fisherman’s cottages with boathouse storage below. You can see why the fishermen might have chosen such a plum spot.

Recently renovated and beautifully presented, the accommodation is all about the light, location and big sea-and-mountain views. Your proximity to the beach and high-tide waves could almost make you believe you’ve just moored alongside for some shore leave. You are in touching distance of the sand.

Each of the apartments is slightly different, but what they have in common is the exceptional quality of the renovation which has been designed to maximise the stunning panoramas. Everything is brand new. Each has a glossy, supremely well-equipped kitchen which will make any holiday cooking sessions a pleasure. The apartments are big-windowed, bright and beautifully appointed.

Beachfront location near Abersoch

This is a quiet and peaceful beachfront location, but only a short distance from some of the Llŷn’s most beautiful seaside villages, including Abersoch, Aberdaron, Criccieth and Pwllheli. The Llŷn is well-known for its watersports, from surfing to SUPing, kite surfing to sailing. Pwllheli has an excellent marina. There is fantastic walking along the Llŷn coastal path, and this is a great part of the world to get on your bike.

Llanbedrog beach is golden, sandy, relatively shallow and sheltered. It is much loved for its colourful beach huts and mountain backdrop. The location is within touching distance of the Wales Coastal Path – follow it up and over the headland to Abersoch, and on your way check out the impressive Tin Man sculpture. The views from the top of the headland are spectacular, taking in Snowdonia’s peaks, Cardigan Bay and St Tudwal’s Islands. At low tide you can walk around the headland to Abersoch – just make sure you check the tide timetable before you set off.

Back at the Llanbedrog holiday cottages, you’re just a short walk from the Oriel Plas Glyn-y -weddw gallery, a wonderful showcase for Welsh art, music and theatre. It’s well-worth checking out what’s going on whilst you’re around, and it’s a great place for a bit of lunch or afternoon tea.
