Charming Pet-Friendly Barn Conversion near Beach | Stabl-Bennar

This is are second time staying here. As it is close to all we needed a beach and shops and pubs as we have a 17 year old dog she could walk to the beach. It’s a short drive to Barmouth. This place is so peaceful and quiet we will be booking this place again as the house has all we needed and owners are friendly.

Great cottage

Just completed a six night stay with my wife and I and our dog. The Stabl was excellent, really comfortable, quiet, clean and very well equipped. We were blessed with superb weather throughout our stay so the beach location was ideal. The house keeper Lynn was very helpful and we certainly recommend this property for a couple.

Perfect cosy cottage for our Easter getaway. Tony and Sarah were amazing hosts with giving helpful information only a local would know and always being on hand if needed. The accommodation itself was brilliant throughout, it had all the comforts of home with being so quaint. I have already recommended this stay to family and friends!! Thank you for having us 🙂

Great cottage for our weekend away with our small dog. Tastefully decorated with thoughtful touches. Log fire was great when the rain was lashing and the wind was howling and Tony and Sarah were lovely hosts.

We book this place at the last minute. And we was amazed at the place it was so peaceful. The welcome pack was good too. Food shop and local pub was in walking distance and beach ⛱️ 😎. Restaurant was 5 minute’s away but well worth the drive as the view at sunset was fantastic. This is the first time we have been here but not the last as even the dog was relaxed 😌. Thank you from Andrew, Sarah and Mae the 17 year old dog 😀

Great accommodation, location and host. The pictures don’t do the location justice. A short 10min walk away is a beautiful beach. Tony was very helpful.

Beautiful stay… the place was immaculate and the views were stunning. A few standouts were the super friendly hosts who greeted us on arrival, a box of goodies that helped us get set up for the weekend (bread, milk, eggs etc.) and a very comfy bed! The hosts gave us some really helpful recommendations in terms of places to eat. It was about a 10 min drive to Barmouth which was a lovely place with lots of places to eat and drink. It was also just a 15 min walk from the beach which was beautiful and we felt like the only ones on there. Overall an excellent stay and would stay again!

What a little gem. So tastefully renovated and perfect for our getaway, we can only echo the previous reviews.
Bread, milk, cheese, eggs and Welsh cakes waiting for us. A basket filled with logs for the log burner. Towels,water bowl and treats for Jaxon.
1/2 mile to the sea and lots of walks for the dog. 10 mt drive to Barmouth or Harlech. We caught the train at Barmouth and went to Machynlleth- stopped for coffee and then back on the train for lunch at Aberdovey before returning to Barmouth. Another day we went from Barmouth to Pwllheli- off for coffee and then lunch in Porthmadog before returning to Barmouth. A tick off our bucket list.
Despite it being January the cottage was always warm and toasty. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous cottage, well finished and cosy. Had everything we wanted for a short stay. Location great, lovely beach within a short walk away. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful little property, fully kitted out in high spec equipment.

Owners had the perfect balance between being attentive but not overly.

I can’t praise this cottage and the host enough! It is beautiful, kitted out with everything you need and spotless on arrival. Tony kindly provided dog towels and water bowl as soon as we arrived and showed us around. I would love to stay here again, highly recommended.

We have just got home from the most perfect 5 night stay in Y Stabl. We were met by the owner and had everything explained to us and plenty of complementary snacks/hot drink items. Close to Dyffryn Ardudwy for local shops (sausages from the butchers in the Spar are a must!), and easy 10/15 min drives to Harlech or Barmouth. Our spaniel, Cooper, had the best time and loved his complementary dog treats and beach towels! Shame about the weather but that’s the UK for you! 10/10 would stay again
