Portaledging | The New And Unique Adventure Activity... 10% Discount
So I have been introduced to ‘portaledges’ this week. For those of you who are not in the know, they are platforms you suspend from the side of a cliff that can be slept on, sat on and eaten on. It’s all about ‘Portaledging’ these days and GAIA Adventures are the are the only people offering this unique experience to adventurous folks like you and me by introducing their ‘Afternoon On The Edge’ adventure. This is where you spend the afternoon on a portaledge suspended above the sea whilst the team cook up a meal and provide drinks while you chill out, taking in the view, savoring this incredibly unique experience. There is also a chance to do some easy climbing above the waves if you so wish.…

ZipWorld in Bethesda, Snowdonia, North Wales
For his 70th birthday present we decided to buy my dad a ticket for Europe’s longest zip wire at ZipWorld in Bethesda, here in Snowdonia, North Wales. Once we looked into it, my mum, our two daughters and I decided we should probably come along to keep him company. Louise kindly volunteered to hold our bags and look after the car. (Insert chicken noises here.) So yesterday, 3 generations of the Llwyd family drove up to Penrhyn Quarry just south of Bangor for a truly remarkable experience. I hope you enjoy our video. Some quick facts about ZipWorld. £500K setup costs 1.6km long stainless steel zip wire imported from Germany 236m drop Top speed of over 110 mph
