There is nothing like a good Christmas market to get you into the swing of things for the festive season. Showcasing local arts and crafts they are always great places to pick up some out of the ordinary Christmas presents whilst sipping one or two mulled wines and eating mince pies! Here are the Christmas Markets 2017 not to be missed…   LLANDUDNO CHRISTMAS FAYRE 16 – 19 NOVEMBER 2017 Heralded as the ‘Queen of Welsh resorts’ Llandudno is the biggest Christmas market with over 165 stalls lining the town centre. It’s a Dickensian themed market which adds to the charm of the event and this year the World Bara Brith Championships will be held here!   PORTMIERION FOOD AND CRAFT FAIR 1 – 3 DECEMBER 2017 My personal favourite, set in the stunning Italianate village. It’s hard to believe that we are only 6 weekends away from Christmas making it time to start putting things in the diary. In my experience, there is nothing better than a Christmas Market to get you into the spirit of things – with all that great food, mulled wine, local crafts and music, you cannot fail to get into the festive swing. Here are my Top Christmas Markets in North Wales | 2016:   LLANDUDNO CHRISTMAS FAYRE 17TH – 20TH NOVEMBER With 165 stalls, this is one of the bigger markets . A Dickensian theme runs throughout the 4-day event held in this quintessential Victorian seaside town. Lots of local crafts, food and drink.   ABERSOCH CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 25th – 26th NOVEMBER This fair takes place throughout the village of Abersoch and has become quite a big event in the calendar.
